Can I just say how much I love this couple?  Katlyn & Matt are so great together and they are so much fun to be around.  They were married this past weekend at TCU’s Robert Carr Chapel.  I think it was a long morning for both of them because they were both very anxious and excited to see each other and finally be married.  They followed their beautiful ceremony with a rockin’ reception at The Ashton Depot in Downtown Fort Worth.  Both Katlyn and Matt are big into wine and cigars, so naturally that theme occurred at their reception with wine corks for place card holders and their very own cigar roller.  Please take a minute to enjoy some of my favorite images from their beautiful Fort Worth wedding.

This weekend I am excited to be photographing Eileen & Aaron’s wedding in Grapevine.  It is going to be a small intimate affair with 25 of their closest friends and family.  I met up with them last Friday after they flew into town. They met over seas in Iraq when they were both their for work and did a majority of their planning from there. Aaron is super goofy and I love how he constantly was bringing a smile to Eileen’s face. I had so much fun this past week getting to know Katherine & Bret during their Fort Worth engagement session.  I loved when Katherine told me the story of her meeting Bret. Her friend had two guys she wanted her to meet  and set her up with but after meeting Bret she had no interest in meeting the second guy since she knew she had found the one. and didn’t need to keep on looking. Her are some of my favorites.

The police seem to play a part in Chelsea and Adam’s relationship. They actually met because of a police officer when someone attempted to break into Chelsea’s apartment and Adam was walking by and asked if he saw anything. Adam came back the next day to check on Chelsea and things went from there.  Then during their engagement session we witnessed a car hit my vehicle and take off so we had to call the police. Chelsea and Adam have such a great sense of humor and we were able just to laugh at the absurdity of what happened.  For their session we went to Joe T Garcia’s where they are having their rehearsal dinner and then went to some of the urban walls around our studio. I had the chance to photograph Allyson and Stephen this weekend.  Allyson lives in Georgia and Stephen is from Arlington and just got out of the Army only a couple of weeks ago.  These two made me laugh throughout the whole session.  The just kept giggling and being extremely cute.  Stephen is hilarious and kept making me fall for his jokes.  They will be getting married in June at the beautiful Robert Carr Chapel and Fort Worth City Club.  Please enjoy some of my favorites from their Fort Worth engagement session.

Melinda and Michael got married this past weekend in a beautiful, intimate, nighttime ceremony at Marty Leonard Chapel in front of their closest friends and family.  Melinda and Michael chose to see each other before their ceremony which allowed us to get some photos before the sun set. I met up with Annie & Jacob over the Christmas Holiday. I had spoken so many times with Annie so it was great to finally meet them while they were in town from Houston. For their engagements they brought along their own little dog pack. They have two Chocolate labs named Bella and Polo and their most recent addition is Mack whom they found.  I loved getting to know Annie & Jacob and can’t wait for their wedding in July. I have been waiting in anticipation for two months to share the bridal portrait photos I took of Katherine at the YWCA in downtown Fort Worth.  I loved the vintage glam look of her hair and makeup by Something You…Make Up Artistry. It went so well with the vintage building we were photographing in. I was so excited to meet the Medina Family as in the past they have always worked with one of my other photographers.  I loved them and their super rambunctious little man!Oh to be 2 and have that energy (well, during sessions sometimes I seem to have it but it wears out after I am done.)  Thanks guys for spending some time with me and letting me play.

I met Janel and Samuel up at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens for their engagement photos which is where they also had their first date this year. om April 1. Janel admitted she did worry for a minute that it was a joke but it was not and now Janel and Samuel are getting married next month. For the first part of their session they included Samuel’s children Chris & Natalia. I love that they included them as they are becoming a new family. Afterwards we went to the stockyards and concluded by watching the daily cattle drive. Here are some of my favorites from their Fort Worth engagement session.
