Claire & Adan – Wedding Ceremony at TCU’s Robert Carr ChapelFort Worth, TX

Claire & Adan are married!  It was such a beautiful day with so many special moments!  Claire describes a few of them that she was so excited about…

“I am wearing my mom’s veil. I have always loved it and it is gorgeous. Adan is wearing spiderman cufflinks I bought him for his birthday and his best man is wearing captain america cufflinks that Adan gave him. They are both superhero buffs! One of our reading is from the Velveteen Rabbit. It is a beautiful passage I can’t wait to hear. I will be walking down the aisle to “Dawn” from the Pride and Prejudice soundtrack.”

In addition to all of these beautiful things, Claire and Adan gave their moms special rosaries during the ceremony and after they became husband and wife they stood on the balcony of the church and waved to their guests as they left the chapel.  It felt very appropriate being so close to the royal wedding!  Enjoy some of my favorite moments from their Fort Worth wedding!

Lindsey & Kurt – Reception at the 4 ElevenFort Worth, Texas

Lindsey wore her mother’s wedding dress, but had some alterations to it to make it more modern.  I love it when couples incorporate their pairent’s weddings into their day!  After they entered the reception, Lindsey and Kurt started their first dance as husband and wife.  As the song ended Kurt picked her up and spun her around! Such a sweet gesture!  The party got started, and let me tell you, that dance floor was packed the entire night! Even Super Frog was on the dance floor!  Take a look at some of my favorite moments from their reception.

Ali & Caleb – Wedding Ceremony at Robert Carr Chapel at TCUFort Worth, TX

Wow.  What an incredible couple Ali and Caleb are!    I love how Caleb describes the way they first met and their courtship after that led to marriage!  Here is their story in his own words.

“It was the summer of 2015, and I was complaining to one of my best friends of how tired I was of being single and hated the entire process of first dates. My friend Amy listened patiently and began to plant inconspicuous seeds of getting to know Alexandra, the soon to be love of my life. I was taken aback because Ali not only lived 3.5 hrs away, but was also a devout Fighting Texas Aggie and in my opinion not my type. My how I was so wrong!!!!!! It was not until the Winter of 2016, that I finally took Amy up on her suggestion and boldly asked Ali out on a blind date to the Twisted Root burger and beer joint in a suburb of Dallas. I instantaneously felt a connection and could not help but see the beauty and kindness she had within. We spoke a few hours of family and friends and things seemed to flow so organically. A few days after our first encounter, I asked if I could call her and a few phone calls turned into another in person date.

Here is where the story goes south for about two weeks……… I got scared and nervous and did not follow up after our last date.

It finally was about a week before our awesome friend Amy’s wedding, when I asked to see her again. I knew it was a long shot, because I was kind of a jerk but she kindly accepted my offer and went as my date.

We nervously met up the night before our mutual friend’s wedding in San Marcos, where I introduced her to my stomping grounds, which included a sub-par burger joint and fantastic wine bar experience.

The organic conversations that fueled our first encounter was back, as we didn’t skip a beat. I remember loving how natural I felt with Ali and hoped this would be my forever partner in crime.

The following day, Ali and I met up to attend the nuptials of Henry and Amy. I was insanely nervous and knew that I was about to embark on the most incredible journey and adventure of a lifetime………. I just didn’t know how amazing it was going to be.

After the wedding, I asked if we could sit and chat a while. I nervously told her I liked her in the most awkward way possible and didn’t know how it would work, but wanted it to work. She replied by inviting me to meet [her family] and I excitedly accepted her offer. I had no clue the amazing journey to marriage I was about to experience.

It has been a year since Ali and I first met. My heart still skips a beat when I gaze into her eyes. She makes me a better man and I cannot wait to make her my wife.”

With only having 2 weddings left in 2017, I couldn’t be more excited they they were one of them. These two are quite possibly the sweetest and most genuine people you’ll ever meet and their excitement for life is so infectious.  Usually it’s my couples’ faces that hurt after smiling so much for photos, but this time I found my own face hurting from all of the smiling from just being around them and their families.  Enjoy some of my favorite moments from their ceremony and check back for their amazing reception!

Tori & Jake – Wedding Reception at The Ashton DepotFort Worth, TX

What a beautiful night!  Tori and Jake held their reception at the amazing Ashton Depot.  It was lit all warm and glowy, which was the perfect backdrop as they shared their first dance under the chandeliers.  Tori’s dad gave a sweet toast and welcomed Jake into their family, then the party was on!  We had so much fun on the dance floor with this group!  Unfortunately all good things must come to an end and everyone lined up outside as Tori and Jake shared their private last dance.  They then were sent off to start their new lives together!  Thanks so much for letting me capture your big day! Congratulations!

Tori & Jake – Ceremony at Robert Carr Chapel at TCUFort Worth, TX

These two Horned Frog alumni are married!  Tori and Jake were married at TCU’s Robert Carr Chapel on a perfect October evening.  We started the day getting ready over at the Worthington in Downtown Fort Worth.  With the TCU game on in the background, it was a pretty chill morning with Tori and her girls.  Things started to get real when it was time to put on the dress.  The tears started to shed once the gown, shoes and veil were all in place.  Tori was absolutely stunning!  Once we got to the church we had a fun time taking photos with the wedding party.  The girls were super cute and sassy, and the boys just plain goofy.  They were all so much fun, I knew that the reception was going to be a good party.  It was then time for the ceremony!  Tori and Jake wrote their own vows which were so sweet, and Tori even threw something in there that made Jake crack up.  They exchanged rings and then were pronounced husband and wife!  It was such a beautiful day and there is still so much more! Check back for their awesome reception!

Lauren & CJ – Engagement Session at Japanese Gardens and TCUFort Worth, TX

I cannot get over how adorable Lauren and CJ are!!  From the moment I met with them I knew they were going to be a blast to photograph.  Lauren and CJ are both TCU alum and Lauren was a Showgirl at TCU, so of course we had to hit up campus for one of their locations! Being a TCU grad myself, I always love having a chance to go back to campus and talk about “the good ole days” with my couples.  These two are so precious and have such amazing chemistry, I couldn’t decide on which images to show!   Lauren and CJ  will be getting married next year at Classic Oaks and I cannot wait!

RoseAnn & Ross – Wedding Reception at The Renaissance WorthingtonFort Worth, TX

RoseAnn and Ross are now husband and wife and it is time to party!  After the ceremony all of their family and bridal party greeted and congratulated them while guests cleared the chapel.  We had some time for Ross and RoseAnn to be alone for the first time as a married couple and then it was on to the reception!  They had a few more special moments up their sleeves for the reception.  RoseAnn changed into her special red boots and her daddy helped her put them on before going into their father daughter dance.  Ross and his mom then shared a dance together and RoseAnn reserved a special dance with her brother.  I just love how close they all are!  Ross had a cake shaped like the Ole’ Miss football field and it was fun to hear them scream their chant.  Guests enjoyed dancing all night to the musical talents of It’s Your Night Entertainment’s Jeremiah Brinckley.  Not only is he a fabulous DJ, but he sings too!!  It was a fabulous night but all good things must come to an end.  While all of their family and friends gathered in the hall to see them off, Ross and RoseAnn shared one last private dance together.  They then were sent off to their honeymoon through a tunnel of shimmering red pom poms!  Congratulations to RoseAnn and Ross!
