Welcome little girl!  Presley Grace is a doll and I loved photographing her so much that at the end of the session I really didn’t want to give her back!  Her parents are past wedding clients and as always we were thrilled the choose to trust us with this major milestone.  Presley was sweet and perfectly squishy.  Scroll on to view more of her Fort Worth newborn session.

I am SO excited about our fall portraits! Last year I missed out because I was on maternity leave with Gideon.  I have been plotting locations and a few props and it is making me think about my own families yearly photo and what on earth I will select for our holiday card.  We have a whole new line of cards this year I am in love with so I am not sure how I will choose.

This year we will be offering Fall Mini Sessions on select Saturdays and weekdays.  Available weekend dates are October 6th & 27th or November 17th.  October sessions will be photographed in Fort Worth near our studio and you may choose from rustic urban, bright urban or field/nature.  November 17th will be at Penn Farms at Cedar Hill State Park.  The farm has vintage barns, open fields, dirt roads and fence lines as well as beautiful trees.  Please note there is an additional cost for admission to the Farms, individuals over 12 are $7 each.  (The Farms rock and I may very well be doing my own family here this year.)

Photographing little ones is SO much fun!!!  As my family has grown to 2 little boys I have definitely found myself falling more in love with photographing the wee ones.  I was beyond excited to photograph little Layla for her 1 year birthday.  One of my associate photographers has been following her since birth and did her parents wedding but this time I got to hang out with this sweet princess.  Her Mom, Vanessa, came prepared with a bright outfit and fun UP inspired props.  It was perfect for this little birthday girl.  Happy Birthday Layla!!!

Carson is ONE!  I love photographing this awesome milestone.  We played with balloons, smashed a cake and I had a work out chasing this rambunctious toddler around our studio.  Happy Birthday Carson!

I love this family and this darling little girl.  Earlier this month I took photos of Avery Elizabeth solo but we had to get Dad and the grandparents in for some family photo action so we did another session last week.  It was great seeing Max, who I hadn’t seen since the wedding, and catching up with Jennifer’s parents.  They are just amazing people and I really enjoy their company.  Avery was a doll and showed off her new tricks.  In just 3 weeks it is amazing the changes a baby makes, now she was doing little baby push ups and rolling over like you wouldn’t believe.  Can’t wait to see her sitting and crawling around!

Eden & Finnley are growing SO fast!  I can’t believe it was just 6 months ago that I photographed their newborn session at Trish & Scott’s house.  It was amazing to see how they have developed and how different they are from one another as well.  I am sure by their one year birthday they will have me running after them!  This cuties are to die for and they did so good for me despite the heat at the Botanic Gardens a few weekends ago.  Here are some favorites from their second session of their Baby’s First Year Package.

The Williams Family was SO much fun this last weekend.  We definitely had an adventure as when we arrived at the McKinney Cotton Mill it was locked!  We sat tight and started our session out front and just in time some one came and let us in.  I am so glad we were able to shoot in-door’s as planned as it was a tad cold for the little one and windy.  These three amazing little boys completely had me laughing and playing silly games from behind my camera as always to get their attention.  I was all prepared for the youngest, Evan, to be my challenge but Ian is a future class clown and had me working for every shot.  At his request I had to photograph a dead bird and him being ridiculous with his older brother, Zane.  Can’t wait to see them all again soon!

One of the absolute best parts of our job is watching our clients families grow and change.  I first photographed this family back when little Logan was in the womb and since then we have been photographing them at all the milestones.  A few months ago Sarah Halferty captured some family photos while Casey was still pregnant with the twins and now I had the pleasure of spending the morning with them and getting to know the two new babies.
