These two drove in to town for a sunrise session at the Botanic Gardens! You wouldn’t be able to tell it was early though! These two had so much chemistry and love for each other, I couldn’t get them to stop smiling even if I wanted to! I can’t wait for their at the Lonestar Mansion this summer. Check out some of my favorite moments from their session.
I am so excited to share Stephanie and Patrick’s engagement session! I met up with these two at the Dallas Arboretum for the first part of their session. We thought we were going to have bad weather, but luckily the sun started to pop out as we started and it was absolutely gorgeous by the time we got to the lake. Stephanie is a TCU Horned Frog like me and Patrick has just moved here to Texas from New York, and I have never been so aware of how many times I say the word, Y’all. I love when I can joke and poke fun with my couples. It makes everything just a little bit more fun! Stephanie and Patrick will be getting married in September and I can’t wait!
This couple! Sarah & Matt met through family a while back, and started dating after Sarah moved to Dallas. We explored parts of Deep Ellum to get some fun shots and then headed over to Klyde Warren Park for some more photos. These two had so much chemistry and laughed during the whole session. We finished our session with the evening Dallas skyline in the background! Take a look at some of my favorite shots from this engagement session!
Brigit and Lucas are such a fun and sweet couple! They are having an intimate wedding next month at Reata (yum!). I enjoyed getting to know them as we walked around Dallas and explored the areas around Klyde Warren Park. Brigit has a great smile and looked great (shout out to Fallon from Love + Pout Makeup). For our second location we went to the Bishop Arts District and Brigit wore a fun pair of red shoes! I can’t wait for their wedding! Check out a few of my favorite moments from their shoot.
I love documenting proposals, there is nothing like the surprise and secrecy of waiting for that moment when he FINALLY goes to one knee and out comes the ring – the tears, the laughter, the YES!!!! This proposal was super near and dear to my heart though – this lovely bride to be is our very own Annie – my associate photographer and dear friend. When I heard the whispers of the proposal and their coming engagement I knew that Amanda and I had to be a part of this very special day. A little message on Facebook to Josh led to us helping document this emotionally charged proposal and doing some sneaking around to make sure Annie looked gorgeous. I was so tricky I even had a reason for her to have her makeup professionally done by Fallon Farmer with Love & Pout Makeup and made sure she was super fancy!
Along with Thirteen Media we followed Annie on and adventure around Fort Worth where she visited spots that were tied into Josh & Annie’s courting and at each spot she had a surprise! Josh is a big hearted guy (I am really super happy he is marrying my girl – I am in tears writing this!!!) and he exposed all of his softness for this day. Not only did he take her on a scavenger hunt but at each location he had a married couple that they are friends with there to greet her, give her a gift and ask her a question. Before hand Josh had Thirteen Media record him answering the same questions. It was pretty freakin sweet and romantic!! If you like crying happy tears for someone you don’t even know – you have been warned – watch the video below! Our photos show the fun and the emotion and the highlights but the video that Thirteen Media created along side us really reveals the love that Annie & Josh have for each other, the Lord and their community.
I am on the edge of my seat in anticipation to watch my Annie marry Josh on April 30th! Love you guys and congrats!!!!
I had the pleasure of photographing Diana’s bridal before her engagement, so I knew I would have a great time getting to know her special guy, Kylan. These two met at TCU so of course we had to take some photos on campus. We had some beautiful weather and were able to snap some photos with their sweet pups, Dottie and Dash. After, we went to the Bass Hall that was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Diana wore a gorgeous red dress the complimented her surroundings. I can’t wait for their wedding! Check out some of my favorite moments from their session.
I just love this couple! Robby and Brooke live in Grapevine so we decided to do their engagement session over in their area. We had a lot of fun exploring downtown and then at the Botanic Garden. These two have such great chemistry and were so fun to work with! They brought along some photos they took in high school and we got some fun photos with them. I can’t wait for their wedding this next March. Here are a few of my favorite photos from their session!
After completing the booking process many couples want to know what is next. Here is a suggested list and time frames for wen to schedule your portrait sessions:
Engagement session planning can start right away. We suggest you do your session 3 months or more in advance of your wedding date. If you want to use an image on a save the date we suggest 7-9 months in advance. Save the date’s typically are sent out 6 months prior to your wedding. If you would like to use an image from your engagement there is a $40 file charge that includes, retouching, sizing and release to you.
Bridal photography is scheduled about 2 months in advance of your wedding. Once your dress is ordered and arrives at the salon we suggest contacting the studio to set up your bridal session. The length of time required for alterations may affect when we are able to photograph you.
Boudoir photography is scheduled prior to your wedding (no later than 4 weeks before.) We offer 2 boudoir weekend events that are all inclusive, in winter & summer! These sessions include hair, makeup, the hotel location & a 6×6 book to gift your spouse. Please check with us as soon as you know you want to participate so that we can guarantee you a spot. Individual sessions are also available to be scheduled but do not include hair, makeup and the hotel.
I just love this couple! I instantly liked Alexis when I met her, so I was very excited to meet her special guy. These two met at the school they both worked at and will get married in March of next year. Josh proposed near the Trinity River in Fort Worth so we headed there for the first part of our session. After, we headed downtown to get some more photos! Here are some of my favorites!
