Always so happy when we get to get generations together in front of our cameras. So fun to watch little Cameron play and laugh with her grandparents and parents. I have adored watching this little munchkin grow up – she has changed SO much since her first birthday pictures! Now she is 3! She is fun, beautiful and a total ham for the camera. Love you little one! You are going to steal some hearts one day (oh wait, you already do!)

Happy Birthday little Embry! This little shining light is the big ONE and oh and this year is flown. She is starting to talk, wants desperately to walk and any day now Mommy Meg will be chasing after this little girl. For her birthday session we were joined by Mom & Dad as well as one set of grandparents for some family photos. Loved this year watching her grow and I know her family misses her tininess but rejoices in all her growth.
How time has flown since this little guy was born. He turned one a bit ago but we waited to do this session until we could get Daddy to join us for some family photos. I was excited to finally get them all together, get photos with Dad and we even had the chance to get a few cousin photos and grandparents in on the game! Jay is just darling and looks so much like his Mama! He was so excited to play and is definitely a spirt filled one year old now. His entire motto for the session was fun fun fun! He was pretty excited with his treat though, smashing a cake is always the best! Happy Birthday big guy!
I just love this family. Right before the dreadful ice storm rolled in last week I ventured over to their home for this classic holiday portraits. I photographed baby David a few weeks ago but this time around is was time for the grandparents! I adore that they are so close to their grand-babies that they have me out to take portraits of them from time to time. It was my first time to see Avery with her baby brother and I can tell she really likes being a big sister. She played around the tree and it is always fascinating to see the magic of Christmas in a little ones eyes. Merry Christmas!
The Parker family are super special clients because Laura, the Mom, is a fellow photographer and friend. I was completely honored when she asked me to photograph her family for her and I loved getting to hang out with her 4 sweet children and her in-laws. It is awesome when we can get grandparents in on sessions and take photos that show generations, it makes for photos that are surely priceless. The older 3 children definitely dote on their little brother Jeff and the oldest girls have a special bond. During the session they kept wondering off together having a sisterly moment. I hope I can continue to get to know this family as their friend as they surely have blessed me!
This week I spent some quality time with the Webster Family taking their family portraits. Kathy Webster came to us last week to get some headshots taken for her gallery show, and so this week I met up with her entire family at their house to get some more pictures done. Kathy and her husband, Charlie had such a beautiful home in the heart of Ft. Worth that we decided to do the portraits there. I loved being around this big family! It was great getting to know all of them. Here are a few of my favorites from their session…
I love this family and this darling little girl. Earlier this month I took photos of Avery Elizabeth solo but we had to get Dad and the grandparents in for some family photo action so we did another session last week. It was great seeing Max, who I hadn’t seen since the wedding, and catching up with Jennifer’s parents. They are just amazing people and I really enjoy their company. Avery was a doll and showed off her new tricks. In just 3 weeks it is amazing the changes a baby makes, now she was doing little baby push ups and rolling over like you wouldn’t believe. Can’t wait to see her sitting and crawling around!
