Sweet Ellis turned three this year, so of course we had to take some photos to show off how much she has grown since last year! She has quite the personality! She explored in the Botanic Gardens in Fort Worth, looked at flowers, and even played in some water. She had an opinion on each outfit, but loved her hot pink tights the most. We loved getting to photograph this sweet girl. Happy Birthday Ellis!
Oh my goodness, Ellis. This little tyke and I played at Trinity Park last week for her 2nd birthday portraits. As the middle child she was eating up some one on one time with Mommy and my team. We sang songs, played with sticks, ran races and used up all the two year old energy this girl could muster. She has such an adventurous spirt – I think she feels the need to keep up with her big brother and I bet that most of the time she it totally up to the task. Ellis helped pick out her clothes, like most 2 year olds she has an opinion and wants to be heard! She was all about dresses with pockets! Happy Birthday little one!
Little Lucy bird is growing up! She was giving me some full on pout for her session last week. I know she is a giggly little girl and Mommy coaxed some smiles out of her but her tummy was not liking her this day. The hardest part of being a Mommy is just not knowing what are babes need some times, they have so few ways to tell us what is wrong. Lucy was so patient and a good sport for her sitting up milestone but I know her tum tum was protesting. Praying that she feels better now and next time I see her she is all smiles. Thank Mom for being so patient and for loving your little one so much, she is a lucky little bird.
It has been a few years since I last saw Jaden and she has grown into a beautiful young lady! I love her spunky personality and I am so glad she listened to her Mom and wore a dress! It was so cute with her boots and denim. We photographed her spring mini session in the Fuller Garden at the Botanic Gardens of Fort Worth. Her Momma, Jamie of Creme de la Creme Cakes jumped in for a few Mother Daughter pics at the end and I am so glad she did. As a mom it is easy to make pictures about our children and forget to get in them. Next mission is to get Dad in a photo. Thanks for hanging with me and next time we can try to bring the dog!
Tate is a munchkin full of energy and a boy to the bone and that made me just fall for him completely. He completely reminds me of my own silly boys. Tate’s Mom and Dad are another of my past wedding clients so it was great to catch up and meet this little guy. You can tell how much fun he has with his parents in these two photos with each parent. I love his energy and his sweetness.
Um, I just want to scoop him up and hug him. Look at that pout!!!
Last weekend I photographed the Hill family and their precious son, Colton. We had a blast exploring the field and running around playing with rocks like little boys do! Here are some of my favorites from their session….
