April showers bring May flowers. That’s what I feel like all of April has been this year, is just straight rain day after day. And of course it threatened to rain, once again, on Jennifer and Alex’s wedding day, but we got very lucky and it held off! It was a great day for a beautiful garden wedding with a beautiful couple. Both Jenn and Alex seemed to be a little anxious while they were getting ready, which is why I am so glad they decided to do a first look. I had spent the morning with Jenn and her girls but I didn’t get to see Alex until we were getting him ready to see his bride. I was telling him how amazing she looked and when I saw her coming toward him in the distance, I said “oh here she comes” and he was overcome with emotion. I know he was so ready to see his gorgeous future wife. After they saw each other for the first time, nerves started to calm and we had some fun just being in the garden and taking some photos. They had their intimate ceremony in front of the gazebo in the Fuller Gardens and it was the perfect setting. They were so sweet as they read their vows to each other and Alex was making Jenn have a little giggle fit. It was just the sweetest! Please enjoy some of my favorites from their first look and ceremony and be sure to check back soon for more from their Colonial Country Club reception!

I am so excited to share this stunning bride’s portraits! Laura made such a gorgeous bride, I think I kept getting overly excited when I would show her the back of my camera. She got her dress and veil at Brides and Beaux in Colleyville. Her veil was so much fun to play with as it did this beautiful folding thing down the back. Please enjoy my favorites from her bridal session.
Day after sessions are so much fun! In this case it was more like a month after but I loved getting to hang out with Lauren and Clint again! They were married in October and their reception was at T&P station, so we went back and did some photos when the building was empty. They brought a couple of suitcases as props which I loved and thought was super cute, kind of like they were waiting on the train to leave on their honeymoon. I wish more couples would do day after sessions. How often do you get to wear your wedding dress after your wedding? Anyway, I’m so excited to share these photos and hope everyone enjoys them!
I met up with Nicole and David last week for their engagement session. They got engaged at the Grapevine Botanic Gardens while feeding fish and David had stashed the ring in the fish food. How cute is that? Naturally, a garden was the perfect setting for these two, so we headed over to the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens. Nicole and David have known each other since they were in the 5th grade and ended up dating in college. Talk about sweethearts! I’m really excited to be photographing their wedding in September at Marty Leonard Chapel and the YWCA!
Now that I have a little bit of a slow time I can finally post the many bridals I have done over the year! Janae was married in April of last year. Her wedding was at Christ Chapel with the reception at T&P station so for her bridals we decided to add a little bit of greenery. I love the Japanese gardens because there are so many different options if you want an outdoor bridal.
Last week I had the chance to hang out with Meghan and Clark for their engagement session. They are so sweet and such a cute couple. We started at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens where the trees are starting to change colors, giving the gardens a very golden, warm glow, which I absolutely love. This is why November is my favorite month! After the gardens we headed over to Downtown Fort Worth and took advantage of the newly redone Sundance Square. Meghan and Clark are getting married in March and I am so looking forward to it! Please enjoy a few of my favorites from their Fort Worth engagement session.
I love their matching Ray-bans.
Last week I met up with Megan & Parker over at the Post Office in Downtown Fort Worth for their engagement session. They brought along some fun pink balloons and their little dog, Lila. Afterwards we headed over to the Botanic Gardens for some picnic inspired shots and a little bit more of a green feel. Please enjoy a few of my favorites from their Fort Worth Engagement Session.
Last week I got to spend the afternoon with Meredith & Dan. They are such a sweet couple and I really enjoyed getting to hang out with them and get to know them as a couple. They will be getting married next month at Marty Leonard Chapel and having their reception at the Fort Worth Zoo! I’m getting pretty excited for their upcoming wedding. Please enjoy a few of my favorites from their Fort Worth Engagement Session.
I am so excited to share these photos of Melissa and Josh. They really enjoy reading and Melissa loves to write as well, so naturally the Fort Worth Public Library was a perfect place for them. They were so cute as they read random books to each other and Melissa tried to teach Josh a few things on the piano that we found upstairs at the library. We had such a great time during their session and they were cracking me up the whole time. Melissa and Josh will be getting married in Houston, where Melissa’s family is, in August. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to shoot this amazing couple’s engagement photos. Please enjoy some of my favorite images from their engagement session.
