Some sessions capture a brand-new baby; this one captured a brand-new chapter. Matthew and Kristin recently purchased a new home, and we photographed this newborn session right inside it — before they had even moved in.
They wanted to commemorate this special time in their lives as they grow into a bigger space for their expanding family. With the rooms still empty, we documented these first quiet moments in the new home before any renovations or moving boxes — just the family, the light, and all the possibility of what is to come.
Now parents of two little ones, Matthew and Kristin used this session to usher in a whole new phase of life. It was such a neat idea, and the empty new home turned out to be the perfect backdrop to welcome their newest addition and mark the start of this next chapter.
