Planning for Unique Wedding Portraits

Theresa + Eric
Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth

If you want to have unique wedding day portraits, talk to your photographer ahead of time about where and how to make that happen. For Theresa and Eric’s wedding day at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, that meant scheduling time to tour the art galleries before their reception introduction (…while their guests were content, enjoying cocktail hour.)

The result is gorgeous and art-filled portraits that totally appeal to their aesthetic. (And… no hangry guests waiting on them to arrive!)
For you, it could mean making a stop at a nearby park or garden, or even hitting downtown in your wedding finest, to take advantage of gorgeous scenery or epic views. In some cases, this portrait time can be scheduled around sunset, or even after the lights go out to capture the glowing city lights.

We love getting to be creative with you, and planning for portraits that will match your style, and help to tell the full story of your wedding day. And by scheduling for this ahead of time, it allows us to make extra time for portraits that will blend seamlessly into your day, and even maximize the time the two of you will get to enjoy together! And trust us, you really are going to want that.
