I feel so blessed to have been the photographer for this wonderful family. Kim and her family are one of the winners from our recent “Share the Love” contest. Collins was 3 1/2 when she was diagnosed with Stage II Wilm’s tumor on her kidney on May 21, 2015. She immediately had emergency surgery on May 22nd to remove her entire right kidney and a 10 inch tumor. After nearly over a week in the hospital, Collins received her first of 19 weeks of chemotherapy before they were discharged. She is currently in remission and just had her 3 month scans, which came back CLEAR! Since yellow is the symbolic color for children’s cancer, they brought some yellow balloons for Collins to release to represent being cancer free! We are so excited for Collins and her parents and so glad we could give them their first family photos since they found out.
Little Addison is ONE and she is about to have a baby brother! Mom & Dad found out what they were expecting just hours before this photo shoot so it was an exciting day! Watching this little one grow this year has been such a blessing and I know she is going to be a fabulous big sister and help to her Mommy. I love her little curls! Happy Birthday Addison!
Oh my goodness, Ellis. This little tyke and I played at Trinity Park last week for her 2nd birthday portraits. As the middle child she was eating up some one on one time with Mommy and my team. We sang songs, played with sticks, ran races and used up all the two year old energy this girl could muster. She has such an adventurous spirt – I think she feels the need to keep up with her big brother and I bet that most of the time she it totally up to the task. Ellis helped pick out her clothes, like most 2 year olds she has an opinion and wants to be heard! She was all about dresses with pockets! Happy Birthday little one!
Hayden is such a smiley little lady! This girl looks allot like her big sister Ellis but she has a personality all of her own. This pic of her grabbing for her toes is just my very favorite – so sweet, so happy and so her age and stage! It has been so much fun watching this little family grown from one little boy to plus one girl and now plus another! As the youngest this darling is making her mark! Thanks Mommy Tara for always allowing me to capture your sweeties!
Sweet little Zoe is here and we are so thrilled to welcome her to this world! BIG brother Logan came along for some photos and I can’t believe less than 2 years ago he was just as tiny as his little sister. Zoe was a perfect little lady for me during her shoot and was happy to sleep and soak up some sun. Mom, Cathy, likes purple so we pulled out some purple props for her session from this rosette backdrop to some sweet tiebacks and subtle touches of floral like on this bonnet. I am obsessed with bonnets lately! Little Zoe you are surely loved and have a great family to call your own.

This darling little girl is the first born of one of my very favorite bride and groom! When I ran into Stacy a few months ago at a restaurant and saw her growing bump I just couldn’t wait for this angel to arrive! Rory was a sweetie for her photo shoot last week in studio with me. She is definitely making Mommy & Daddy tired right now but I’m pretty sure her perfect little face and softness make up for that.
Welcome to the world Rory Jane!

Baby Emma is here and we are so excited to meet her! Her Mommy & Daddy were one of Amanda McCollum’s first wedding couples with us a few years ago and when Daddy, DB, called to tell us about Emma we just couldn’t wait to meet her! She is a gorgeous little girl with personality and such a pretty little smile. I am so excited to be apart of this families continued journey. Welcome to the Lightly Photo family little one!
Sophie is a cutie who LOVES her Daddy! Every time he talked she was all smiles and laughs. We met up at the Kimball Art Museum for this milestone session where Sophie showed off her sitting, pushing up and pulling up skills! This girl is ready to move, it will be any day now when she takes off! Loved her summer brights outfit and her classic sweet simple dress. To round it all out Sophia was an adorable elephant as she donned her halloween costume for a few quick photos. See you at the big ONE girlie!
Little Miss Embry is 6 months and sitting up! This doll is ready to take off and any day now I know Mommy will be chasing her around as she is so close to crawling. Her Mom mad the cutest chalk board to cover all her new milestones from her first teeth to how much she has grown. I loved it and it was so well done! Her green lace dress was perfectly paired with the simplicity and clean backdrop of the steps at The Kimbell.
