Katie & Leo {Married} at Robert Carr Chapel and Petroleum Club Ft. Worth

Wedding, Lightly Photography, Robert Carr Chapel, Ft. Worth, Petroleum Club, Sarah Halferty, Bride, Groom, Trolley Car

Katie and Leo were one of those couples that you just absolutely have a blast with. Their wedding at Robert Carr Chapel and the Petroleum Club Ft. Worth was filled with some very special moments, especially with their parents. Katie’s dad had all of us laughing the whole day and I just loved the sweet moments they shared together during their Father-Daughter dance. It definitely made me cry. They also had some cute getting away vehicles that were unique to them. A fun, bright red trolley car took them around during the day, and then at night a big red fire engine picked them up for their exit. Definitely one of my favorite moments throughout the day! These two really had some great vendors, like Bliss Bridal and we rocked out to the Signature Band at the reception. I really enjoyed getting to know these two and I feel as though I went out with a bang as this will be my last wedding with Lightly. I wish them all of the best! Here are a few of my favorites from their wedding day.

Courtney Class of 2013 at Van Zandt Cottage in Ft. Worth

Lightly Photography, Senior, Portrait, Van Zandt Cottage, Ft. Worth

Last week I hung out with Courtney and her dad at Van Zandt Cottage in Ft. Worth. Courtney is graduating with the class of 2013 and wanted to get her senior portraits made. She was so excited to get dressed up and even did a couple of runway walks for me down “the catwalk”. We had a fun time and she was so much fun to get to know. Her dad constantly had her laughing and dancing. Here are a few of my favorites from her senior portrait session.

Love this last shot of her and her Dad. She was so thankful that he gave her this session!

Hailey 6 year old {Portraits} at Urban Walls and Van Zandt Cottage Ft. Worth

Hailey was such a little cutie. From her little dresses and her cowboy boots with pigtails to her big blue eyes. She turned 6 years old recently and so her momma, Cara wanted to get a few pictures of this sweet little girl. She definitely had a huge personality and loved to dance, so of course we had to capture that! Her auntie Adrianne from Turquoise Productions also tagged along for the fun. We went to Van Zandt Cottage and some bright colored walls by our studio. Here are a few of my favorites from her session.

The Colbert Family {Portraits} at the Stockyards in Ft. Worth

Last week I photographed a wonderful little family. We met up in the stockyards. This family had never had their pictures taken, so it was a blast getting to photograph for them! We had fun feeding the goats and entertaining Kate as she ran around. Here are a few of my favorites from their session.

The Mauk Family {Portraits} in Ft. Worth

One of my favorite things is photographing families who make each other laugh all the time. The Mauk Family was just that! We had a blast just shooting around our studio. Shannon bought her in laws a family portrait as a Christmas gift because they hadn’t had an updated one in a while. It was great getting to meet this family and joke around with them! Here are a few of my favorites from their mini session.

The Webb Family {Maternity} Ft. Worth Portraits

Amy and Jeff were some of my first wedding clients. These two are having their second baby, and I am so thrilled for them. They live out in Louisiana now but came all the way to Ft. Worth to have their portraits done with their son Nathan. I haven’t seen Nathan since he was a baby so it was great to get to see him all grown up! He is going to be a great big brother. Here are a few of my favorites from their mini session.

Rebecca & Sean {Married} at Marty Leonard Chapel and Grace in Ft. Worth

Rebecca and Sean were married last week with a petite afternoon affair at the beautiful Marty-Leonard Chapel with a small dinner at Grace after wards. They chose their wedding date, 12.29 because both of their parents had gotten married on that date. What are the chances? So of course they had to have their wedding on that day, even though it was a Thursday. Their wedding was very beautiful with lovely pink and purple flowers by Dietra at Lush Couture. My favorite part was spending time with them between their wedding and reception and we went to all their favorite Ft. Worth spots. Flying Saucer, where they had their first date-we even got to sit on the same couch they had shared! It was a great way to end the year and my last wedding! Here are a few of my favorites from their wedding.

The Dillion Kids {Portraits} at Van Zandt Cottage in Ft. Worth

I have been photographing the Dillion kids for a couple years now. It always so great getting to see them every year and see how much they have grown! This year they brought along their half sister, Chloe and she was such a little cutie. Jessica Dillion from the Knot has been one of our faithful clients over the years. Here are a few of my favorites from their session that we photographed at the Van Zandt Cottage in Ft. Worth.

Megan & Eric {Married} at Alta Mesa Church of Christ and Bass Hall in Ft. Worth

Last week we had a blast photographing Megan and Eric’s wedding. They had an A-list of vendors including, Tami Winn Events and LeFleur Couture who created some magnificent flowers, Bliss Bridal who did an excellent job at providing all of the bridal gowns, Something You Makeup Artistry, Ambiance Entertainment as their DJ, Turquoise Video Productions and of course the beautiful Bass Hall as their backdrop! With a crew like that how could you go wrong?

These two did it a little different then most weddings. They decided that after their reception they wanted to keep the party going with a rockin’ after party-complete with glow sticks and silly 80s glasses! It was a blast. One of my favorite moments from their wedding was the ceremony. Eric’s brother performed the ceremony and so he made it personal and exactly for them. It was very sweet for them to be able to share that moment with him. Another sweet moment was right after the ceremony when they realized they were married for the first time. They hugged and kissed and were just so excited. They began exclaiming to everyone in the room, “We’re married!”. Its moments like that that I love! Here are a few of my favorites from their day.
