Kristin and Brandon had a fun filled reception at the Hurst Conference Center.  This place has a special meaning to their family since her dad had a hand in developing the center and even has a board room named after him. I loved the inside of the center. It has star lights throughout the ceiling and this beautiful cascading lights hanging from the ceiling. It created such a beautiful environment. I have been so excited for Kristin & Brandon’s wedding ever since I did their engagements.  I think Kristin was one of the calmest brides I have ever seen. She and Brandon had such a peace about them as they prepared to marry their soul mates.  As I mentioned in their engagement post they were set up through their mother’s so they were quick family. Here are some of my favorites from their preparation and ceremony at First United Methodist church for their Hurst wedding. It was an amazing day with lots of laughter and I couldn’t share it all at once. Keep watching for their romantic portraits, reception and details.

Lillian and Kyle hired me just over a year ago and it was so great seeing them after so long! Their wedding was a beautiful Christmas wedding filled with lots of special moments. It was really focused on family. My favorite parts during the ceremony were when Lillian’s sister and grandma sang different Christmas carols. They were so pretty. Then the pastor read from a book of wedding vows that they have had in their family for 50 years. This is one of my last weddings of 2011 and it was so special to photograph. Here are a few of my favorites from their day.

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Janie & Kelly Skillman. These two tied the knot at First United Methodist Church in Ft. Worth and walked across the street for their reception at the YWCA. I loved photographing this couple because they could simply not take their eyes off of each other (not to mention their lips!). These two had a fabulous team of vendors like Shea Thielemann Events, Bliss Bridal Salon, and great band called Top with Absolute Entertainment. There were people out on the dance floor all night long! One of my favorite moments of the night was when Kelly surprised Janie with their honeymoon- Bora Bora! I hope you two are having a blast! Last weekend Alanna & Roye got married in a beautiful ceremony at the First United Methodist Church in Breckenridge, TX.  It was followed by an amazing reception in a private airplane hanger.  I loved the retro feeling with all the decorations and floral arrangements by Buds for You. It was completed with swing dancers and a parachute  covering the ceiling of the hanger. Alanna and Roye completed the day by taking off in an airplane, a first for me.
