Jenn & Mitch – Wedding Ceremony at Holy Trinity Catholic ChurchDallas, TX

What a fun day!  Jenn and Mitch were married at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Dallas.  It was a beautiful ceremony and they both just had the biggest smiles on their faces all the way back up the aisle, so happy to finally be husband and wife.  After the ceremony we had the chance to take the party bus around Dallas for some fun photos!  Jenn and Mitch and their wedding party were such a blast just on the bus, I knew the reception was going to be pretty epic, and I was right!  Check back for their crazy fun dance party!

Stephanie & PJ – Wedding Reception at Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West HotelPlano, TX

Time for the reception!!  Stephanie and PJ kicked off their reception with a receiving line so that they could personally thank each guest for coming.  They then moved into their first dance where they stayed as close as possible while swaying to the music.  It was so sweet!  The rest of the evening they were able to catch up with all of their friends and family from all over in between gettin down on the dance floor!  I know they loved being able to share their day with so many of the people that the love.  When the night was over we said goodbye to the newlyweds as they made their way toward the elevators.  It was such a great day and I am so glad that Stephanie and PJ chose met to capture it!

Stephanie & PJ – First Look and Wedding Ceremony at Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West HotelPlano, TX

I am so excited to share Stephanie and PJ’s big day!!  They were married at a brand new hotel in Plano, Renaissance West Legacy, and were the first wedding there!  For their first look it was so much fun to have such cool backgrounds to use with all of the different artwork and architecture.  Stephanie looked absolutely amazing her in her wedding dress and it had a very faint blush skirt, which I loved!!  I think PJ fell speechless when he turned around and saw her for the first time, his jaw nearly dropped to the floor.  They held their ceremony up on the pool deck overlooking the city below and it was a beautiful view.  It was the perfect place for Stephanie and PJ to have their wedding especially since PJ’s family is from New York.  They were able to spend time with the people they love most and give them an cool and funky Texan place to stay.  Check back soon for photos from the reception!!

Janey & Collin – Wedding Reception at The Carlisle RoomDallas, TX

After the ceremony everyone headed down to the Carlisle Room for the reception.  Janey and Collin shared their first dance and then Janey and her dad shared a sweet father daughter dance together.  Then it was time for the party to start!  Janey and Collin were able to spend the evening dancing and chatting with the people who mean the most to them.  They even had a big group of friends gathered on the dance floor watching the last bit of the UT game on an iphone!  There were some happy Longhorns on that dance floor and I think the fight song was played about 3 or 4 times.  At the end of the night Janey and Collin shared a private last dance and enjoyed a little time alone in their reception room just soaking up the day.  We then sent them on their way through a tunnel of sparklers!  It was a beautiful and perfect day and I am so grateful that they chose me to capture it and spend the day with them.  Congrats Janey and Collin!

Janey & Collin – First Look and Wedding Ceremony at Holy Trinity Catholic ChurchDallas, TX

Janey and Collin are married!  We began the day at The Carlisle Room where the reception would later be.  You could feel the excitement in the air as we drew closer to first look and ceremony time.  I think I made Collin anxious when I made him wait a little longer to turn around and see his bride for the first time.  When he did finally get to turn around, his jaw dropped seeing Janey in her dress.  She looked absolutely perfect and I think it was well worth the wait I put him through.  These two are the absolute cutest and I had been looking forward to their day for a long time!  We were able to get some beautiful romantic photos of them and some fun wedding party before heading to the church.   I loved how much of a fun and sweet group of friends they had in their bridal party.  It really made my job even easier!  We got to the church and it was time for the ceremony.  As Janey walked down the aisle on her dad’s arm, Collin looked like he had just seen her for the first time all over again.  I love how you can see his face light up every time he sees her.  The ceremony began and it was so beautiful, complete with a few giggles and sweet stolen glances at one another.  Before we knew it, they were pronounced husband and wife and making their way back up the aisle!  I can’t imagine it being any more perfect! Please check out some of my favorites from their first look and ceremony and check back soon for their fun reception at The Carlisle Room!

Lauren & CJ – Engagement Session at Japanese Gardens and TCUFort Worth, TX

I cannot get over how adorable Lauren and CJ are!!  From the moment I met with them I knew they were going to be a blast to photograph.  Lauren and CJ are both TCU alum and Lauren was a Showgirl at TCU, so of course we had to hit up campus for one of their locations! Being a TCU grad myself, I always love having a chance to go back to campus and talk about “the good ole days” with my couples.  These two are so precious and have such amazing chemistry, I couldn’t decide on which images to show!   Lauren and CJ  will be getting married next year at Classic Oaks and I cannot wait!

Nicki & Kenny – Wedding Reception at The Fort Worth ClubFort Worth, TX

Nicki and Kenny’s day went by way too fast, but was oh so much fun!  After the ceremony we finished up with their wedding party and had some fun with their photos.  Then we headed back to Fort Worth Club for the party!  After the dances and toasts, Nicki and Kenny had a fun way to include all of their guests in photos.  They did a selfie dash!  They went around to each table and each table thought of a fun pose to do with the couple.  It was such a great way for them to have a photo with everyone!  After that they, along with their friends and family, danced up a storm! We couldn’t believe it when it was already time to send them off on their honeymoon!  Before rushing off, they had one last private dance and then made their way to the elevators.  Everyone was sad to see it end but so excited to send the newlyweds off to begin their new lives!  Congratulations Nicki and Kenny!

Nicki & Kenny – Wedding Ceremony at Marty Leonard ChapelFort Worth, TX

I am so excited to share Nicki and Kenny’s special day!  We started the day at The Fort Worth Club and I don’t think Nicki stopped smiling all morning.  Even when the tears started, she was still wearing a smile!  I absolutely loved the energy and happiness that I felt just during getting ready! Kenny loves Superman, so Nicki got him some fun Superman socks to surprise him with and to go with his Superman cuff links!  Once I saw Nicki’s dress, it was exactly what I pictured her wearing and she looked absolutely stunning.  Kenny even started coming up with all the different words he could think of to describe his new wife’s beauty.  It was so cute.  During the ceremony you could really feel the love between these two as Nicki so elegantly wiped tears from her eyes and Kenny could not keep his eyes off of her.  I am so happy to share some of my favorites from their big day and be sure to check back for more from their reception!

RoseAnn & Ross – First Look and Wedding Ceremony at Robert Carr ChapelFort Worth, TX

It seems like just yesterday that I was meeting RoseAnn and taking her bridal portraits, and now she is married!  When I first talked with RoseAnn about her wedding day and her plans, she told me about how she is very sentimental and about the meaningful things that would be happening.  I, also being a very sentimental person, got really excited.  RoseAnn is very close with her family and so she had many things at her wedding that had special meaning to her and different family members. Her shoes were her wedding colors and had their names and wedding date printed on the inside. She wore her grandmother’s jewelry.  Her brother gave her a beautiful charm bracelet that he placed on her wrist before they left for the church.  As she walked down the aisle arm in arm with her dad, she held a bouquet of yellow roses because her dad calls her “his yellow rose of Texas”.  How sweet is all of that?    Don’t worry!  She didn’t leave her new hubby out.  She had a brand new perfume specifically for her wedding day and anniversaries that she wore.  They say that you can associate memories with certain smells and what better way to remind you of your wedding day than a new scent?  She also wrote Ross a letter that he read right before the ceremony that he can always have and look back on.  I could go on and on but I think I’ll let the photos finish telling the story from here.  Please enjoy some of my favorites from their special day and check back soon for their reception!

Erika & Joel – Wedding Reception at The OrchardAzle, TX

After the ceremony it was time to party!  I loved that Erika and Joel incorporated their favorite fandoms into their decor as cake toppers!  Everything from Justice League, to Harry Potter were present and it was awesome.  After cake cutting, toasts and a little bit of dancing it was time for the bouquet and garter.  Now, I have to say I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a dad monitor his new son-in-law during the removal of the garter, but Erika’s dad made sure that he had Joel in check.  Not to worry, Joel didn’t break a sweat and removed the garter with ease.  The rest of the evening flew by in a flash and before we knew it, it was time to say goodbye.  After a sweet private dance, Erika and Joel made their way to their getaway car surrounded by family, friends and sparklers.  I’m so happy for these two and can’t wait to see what the future brings them (and Franklin)!
