Nicole and Michael are two of the sweetest people! I was able to get to know them during their engagement session. This first photo is one of my favorites from the first part of their day! After being pronounced husband and wife, Nicole and Michael walked down the aisle where I was able to catch this sweet moment. Enjoy some of my other favorite moments from the first part of their wedding!
Special thanks to all the great vendors:
Kelley and Patrick braved an early morning session so we could fight off this summer heat! These two were introduced through mutual friends, and actually one of Kelley’s friend married one of Patrick’s best friends from college, and those were the ones who set them up! Check out some of my favorite images from their session.
Brittany and Rich are just about as cute as it gets! When we rolled up to the Kimbell Art Museum for the first part of our session, the weather was not looking so hot, but we stuck it out and it turned out to be perfect!
Here is how these two met:
“Rich and I met at the University of Oklahoma. Although we were friends and ran in the same circles, we did not date during our time there. Rich graduated and went on to law school while I was in my senior year. That December in 2013, OU went to the Sugar Bowl and played Alabama in New Orleans. We ran into each other there and the spark ignited. From then on, we were talking constantly.
Once summer rolled around, I went home to Coppell and Rich came home to Fort Worth. Rich was very persistent about getting to know me better and that’s when we started officially dating. That whole summer we were inseparable, fell in love quickly, and the rest is history.”
I loved getting to know them during their session and can’t wait for their wedding next year!
“Amir and I met six years ago at Texas Tech University. I joined Alpha Chi Omega Sorority my first year at TTU. I kept running into Amir at Sigma Nu Fraternity parties through mutual friends. When we had our first conversation it felt like we were the only ones in the room, even though it was filled with at least one hundred people. We had such a memorable two years at TTU together; from attending each others date parties, to cheering on our Red Raiders on the football field.”
I’m excited to share some of my favorite images from their session and can’t wait for their wedding!
These two met at frog camp at TCU and soon started dating after. They have now been together for 6 years and tie the knot next year! Mitch proposed on his parents lake property in Granbury and then surprised Morgan with an engagement party with friends and family. We explored Lakeside Park and White Rock Lake for their engagement session. Check out some of my favorite moments!
Kelsey and Kal sat in cubicles next to each other at work for about a year before they started dating! A mutual friend invited them to a concert, and that’s where there story began. These two were the sweetest and I love their proposal story shared below in Kelsey’s own words:
We went to visit a friend and her husband in San Antonio and had planned to go to the river walk and Fredericksburg while we were down there. On Saturday morning, Kal said he knew of a neat place to eat lunch on the river walk so we drove down there. As we were walking on the river walk, he showed me a place called ‘marriage island’ (which I had never heard of at the time). There were rose petals sprinkled and our names and picture hanging from the tree. He got down on one knee and proposed. My mom, dad and sister were hiding out taking pictures and videos and surprised me. It was absolutely perfect!
Check out some of my favorite moments from their engagement session!
These two met in high school but it wasn’t until Michael returned from his deployment to finish school at Texas Tech did they start dating! I loved getting to know them during their engagement session! Here’s how Michael popped the question:
My family used to ranch out in West Texas and I have a cousin who still lives there with his wife and 2 adorable kids. We’re all really close and go out to visit any chance we get. As a little girl I’d always go explore the sand hills and look for arrowheads. We went to go visit over 4th of July weekend and we all went out to the old ranch to drive around. We stopped at my old sand hills and decided to go hunt for arrowheads. As we climbed to the top Michael pointed over my shoulder and asked if that looked like and old Indian dugout, when I turned back around he was down on one knee! It was almost 10 years to the day after we’d met.
Can’t wait for their wedding next year!
