Tracy Autem & Lightly Photo – We bought a new studio this week!

This week marked a major milestone in my life and the studio.  We purchased a building!  That is right, a brand new place of our own that we will be spending many years to come creating beautiful images in and servicing our clients.  Want to know more?  Well, I’m being a bit stingy with the details at the moment as we are hard at work on renovations but we will be sharing photos through out the process.   What I can tell you is that it is a bungalow style home built in the 1920’s in the Fort Worth South Side very close to Magnolia Ave.  It is the perfect vintage home for us to hang our hats (and our camera straps.)  At the new studio we will have a room set aside for shooting boudoir and babies, a fabulous claw foot tub, a HUGE porch to photograph toddlers and small children and will be able to walk to some of the best eats in Fort Worth.  If all goes as planned with just minor hiccups we will be in the new space by late October.  Here is a sneak peek at just a few parts of our soon to be home!

Welcome Eden & Finnley {Newborn twins by Tracy Autem}

Welcome Eden Elizabeth & Finley Scott!  I was so excited to meet these little ones last week.  Trish and Scott are one of my couples that were married a few years ago and I was SO excited when I found out they were expecting twins!  I love photographing newborns but this was a new one for me, double trouble, two at once!  They were actually absolute sweet hearts and were super cooperative during the session.  Little Eden & Finnley’s first year will be documented with one of our first year packages with 4 session to capture them at all their important milestones.  I can’t wait to see them grow together.

Welcome baby Ruth! {Newborn & documentary photography by Tracy Autem}

This little girl is precious and dear to my heart.  She is my niece and I adored her before I ever met her.  Ruth’s story is not uncommon but was definitely not expected.  This angel was diagnosed with spina bifida while still in the womb and her family made some huge commitments to ensure she had the best care.  This unfortunately meant Sarah, her Mommy, had to be away from her husband and 4 little girls during the last several months of pregnancy as they joined a clinical research study in San Francisco.  I was ever so blessed to come into their home to capture Ruth’s 4 big sisters meeting her for the first time and them being reunited with their Mom.  To read more about this amazing little girl and her journey you can ready my Sisters blog, www.ruths-story.com.  Welcome home baby Ruth!
