Sweet little Mia is sitting up! Look at how precious she is! Now, I am a little partial as I have been good friends with her Daddy for over 15 years now but still – look at that smile! I love big toothy grins and she is working on a perfect one. Mia is pretty in pink but just as adorable in her Star Wars dress! For all you nerds out there this star wars layette dress is where it is at! A must have for any future jedi princess. 🙂

Welcome to the world baby Collins! This beautiful family welcomed their 4th baby and her 3 older siblings couldn’t have been more excited! It was so fun to be in their home and watch them interact with each other and their new little sister. Ellis and Hayden couldn’t wait to get to hold her and did so well getting their photo taken with her. Carson nearly brought me to tears when he started whispering “I’m your big brother” to his newest sister. It was the sweetest thing and so touching. We are so excited to share some of our favorites from their lifestyle newborn session. 
Carson has always been a busy boy and we couldn’t resist capturing him climbing into the refrigerator, helping himself to a snack. 
Hayden was having a fun time with her very own camera taking pictures of us taking pictures.

Sweet Ellis turned three this year, so of course we had to take some photos to show off how much she has grown since last year! She has quite the personality! She explored in the Botanic Gardens in Fort Worth, looked at flowers, and even played in some water. She had an opinion on each outfit, but loved her hot pink tights the most. We loved getting to photograph this sweet girl. Happy Birthday Ellis!
Oh my goodness, Ellis. This little tyke and I played at Trinity Park last week for her 2nd birthday portraits. As the middle child she was eating up some one on one time with Mommy and my team. We sang songs, played with sticks, ran races and used up all the two year old energy this girl could muster. She has such an adventurous spirt – I think she feels the need to keep up with her big brother and I bet that most of the time she it totally up to the task. Ellis helped pick out her clothes, like most 2 year olds she has an opinion and wants to be heard! She was all about dresses with pockets! Happy Birthday little one!

I always love when this family comes into town! I haven’t seen Avery since Christmas and I was excited that I got to have Avery and her brother, David, together this time. I can’t believe how big they are getting! We headed over to Van Zandt cottage and got some really cute photos of them together in the little red wagon and then a few individuals on the porch. It was the perfect spot for this brother and sister.
I have know Meghan a LOOOONG time and I was so glad to finally get her in front of my camera. She works at the Fort Worth Club so she may look familiar to some of our bride readers. This little family has never really had photos taken so I am excited to present to them their first REAL family portraits! The kids were awesome and the doggies, despite a moment or two of disobedience got their acts together for a few photos. Thanks guys!

Bobby, a caramel lop eared bunny rabbit, was patient and sweet with even the littlest of kids who came to play as you can see above. OH MY GOODNESS! These kids cracked me up, wore me out and sent me home smiling. Last weekend my studio was filled with laughter and lots of cute valentines clad children for our themed mini sessions for the upcoming holiday. I loved my Valentines set this year complete with a vibrant red and white Chevron backdrop with heart accents and a home made kissing booth. It was actually really fun to make and I was super proud of myself for making it from some photo inspiration alone! For a POP of color the AWESOME Tami Winn of Le Fleur Couture provided us with LOVE letters bursting with green flowers. It was adorable and the perfect accent for our set! These styled kids portrait sessions in Fort Worth are some of my favorite each year and I am stoked for the ideas I have up my sleeves for 2013!
Save the Date for Easter Mini Sessions coming MARCH 9th! Last year we went bold and bright and this year we are going soft, subdued, yellow’s, grays, whites and pops of pastels with of course a live animal making an appearance! Will it be bunnies or chicks???? We don’t know yet!
Yesterday I had the privilege of hanging out with these three sweet sisters and their parents. Scout, McCartney & Lennon are adorable! Loved their fun textured and patterned black and white outfits, so classy and fun! Mom and Dad did a good job too. 🙂

Thanks to the Medlock family for coming out this past weekend for our Holiday Mini Portraits at Penn Farms in Cedar Hill State Park. Tonja is a fellow photographer and it is always an awesome feeling to have another pro in front of my camera. I know how hard it is to let go and let some one else take the pictures and Tonja did a great job. It really doesn’t hurt that her kids are so darn cute! I mean, look at them. Complete cuteness. I think I may steal them (especially those girls with those beautiful blue eyes and blond long hair!)
