More Than Just a Suit
Clients often ask us what makes our Santa mini sessions different. Of course, the set is beautiful — we put real thought into every detail. The experience is also intentional — no lines, no chaos, dedicated time that belongs entirely to your family. But honestly? The biggest reason our sessions are what they are is Santa Duane.
The Real Thing
Duane Klosterman has been bringing Santa to life for years, and it shows in every single session. He doesn’t just wear the suit. In fact, he is Santa — the patience, the warmth, the presence. From the moment he walks into the room, something shifts. Kids who were nervous in the car ride over find themselves leaning in. Meanwhile, babies who you were sure were going to cry end up staring at him like he’s the most interesting person they’ve ever seen.
And that laugh. It is exactly what Santa’s laugh should sound like — full, genuine, and the kind that fills a room and makes everyone in it feel something.
What Makes Him Different
What sets Duane apart most, though, is the way he shows up for every child. Rather than rushing through the session, he reads the room instantly — slowing down naturally for any child who needs a little more time. Duane brings a rare and genuine gift: meeting each one right where they are, on their terms, at their pace. As a result, there is no rushing, no “good enough.” Every child who sits with Santa Duane receives his full attention and his whole heart.
That’s not something you can style into a set. It’s something you either have or you don’t — and Duane has it in abundance.
Book Your Session
We are so proud to have him as part of what we do at Lightly Photography each holiday season. In fact, if you’ve ever seen one of our kids light up in front of the camera, a big part of that credit goes right to him.
We hold our Santa mini sessions at the Lightly Photography studio, 1215 6th Avenue in Fort Worth — serving families from across Tarrant County, Highland Park, Dallas, Mansfield, Southlake, Keller, Arlington, and the entire DFW area. This year’s sessions are November 7, 2026. Spots are limited and fill up fast every year.
