Personal Branding Headshots for Leigh Tidwell in Our Fort Worth Studio
We welcomed Leigh Tidwell into our Lightly Photography studio on Magnolia Avenue in Fort Worth for a set of in-studio headshots, and what a joy it was. As a Fort Worth headshot photographer, I love helping people see themselves clearly, and Leigh’s session was a perfect example of why updated, authentic headshots matter.
Leigh works for AFR and needed fresh headshots both for work and for everything she does outside of it — and she does a lot. She has spent years as a public speaker in the events industry and has served in multiple capacities for NACE, the National Association for Catering and Events, at both the local and national level. Leigh is well-known and respected in the event world, and it was time for her headshots to reflect her joy, professionalism, and beauty.
Leigh was skeptical about scheduling her session, and honestly, most people are. Getting in front of the camera can be nerve-racking, and in the past she hadn’t always been happy with her headshots. So I’m especially pleased to say that Leigh was more than happy with these. She felt beautiful in front of the camera, and she felt like we captured not just what she looks like, but who she is.
That distinction is everything. Your headshots should show more than your appearance — they should give the people viewing them a feeling of who you are to work with, do business with, and get to know. That’s what establishes you as a leader in your field, and, just as importantly, as a real person. In a world full of AI-generated headshots and so much happening digitally, it means a great deal for people to know there’s a genuine person on the other side. With Leigh’s photos, I think we captured all of it.
