Welcoming Baby Graham | An In-Home Newborn Session in Fort Worth

There is nothing quite like photographing a family in their own home during those first tender newborn days — and getting to do it for Meaghan and John as they welcomed baby Graham was pure joy. As a Fort Worth newborn photographer, I love the ease of an in-home lifestyle session, where everyone can settle in and just be themselves.

Baby Graham was such a sweet little angel throughout, but the star of the show might have been his big brother. Cliff is a doting big brother through and through — he had so much fun sharing his new baby with me, and he was just as proud to show off his very own bedroom. Watching Meaghan and John settle into life as a family of four was a gift, and their home was full of that gentle, happy hum of a new little one.

I’ve been so lucky to walk alongside this family for years now — from their engagement photos, to their destination wedding in the mountains of Colorado, to welcoming big brother Cliff and photographing their sweet maternity session among the bluebonnets, and now to meeting baby Graham. Getting to document a family through all of these milestones is exactly why I do this.

If you’re expecting, an in-home lifestyle newborn session is such a beautiful way to remember this season — no packing up the whole house, an older sibling who feels comfortable in their own space, and real, honest moments in the place where your story is unfolding. It’s one of my favorite parts of being a Fort Worth family photographer.
