Some events are beautiful. Others are meaningful. And every once in a while—you get both.
The 2026 “Sunnies” Gala, hosted by the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation Southeast Division, brought together nearly 750 industry leaders for an unforgettable evening at the Fairmont Dallas. With a retro-inspired “Here Comes the Sun” theme, the night was filled with energy, connection, and a shared purpose: giving back.
From the interactive cocktail hour to the seated dinner, followed by a lively auction, every part of the evening was thoughtfully designed to feel elevated—but still welcoming. It created space for guests to connect, celebrate, and be fully present in the experience.
And that presence mattered.
Because this night wasn’t just about gathering—it was about impact. With over $1 million raised, the gala will fund 31 community grants across the Southeast, supporting children at risk, education initiatives, and veterans. It’s the kind of ripple effect that starts in one room and extends far beyond it.
Honoring that impact, Matt and Katie Stadler of Marsh McLennan Agency were recognized with the 2026 IICF Southeast Philanthropic Leadership Award—an inspiring reminder of what intentional leadership and generosity can do.
