The Butterfly Ball | A Debutante Ball at the Fort Worth Club

The Butterfly Ball was pure enchantment from the very first glance. Held at the Fort Worth Club, the evening honored Whitney and Tabitha as they made their debut with Steeplechase, and every detail fluttered with intention.

The theme took flight, quite literally: vibrant color and lush greenery with delicate butterflies woven all through the decor, set in a palette of rich purple and emerald green. Large-scale trees were brought right into the club, giving the ballroom a moody, garden-at-dusk feeling that managed to be dramatic and joyful at once. Planned by Sarah Garrett with florals by Coco Fleur Event Design, it was the kind of room you couldn’t stop looking at.

For the first part of the night, Whitney and Tabitha wore their traditional white gowns and gloves as they greeted guests and family — all the elegance and ceremony a debut deserves. Then came our favorite twist: they changed into custom-designed cocktail dresses with long, tulle skirts, and the whole mood shifted into full celebration. As the evening rolled on, the party moved to another ballroom at the Fort Worth Club for an after-party with a DJ, and the dance floor did not disappoint.

It’s always such a joy to celebrate our debutantes — and we love that we get to see so many of these families year after year across the deb season here in Fort Worth. Whitney and Tabitha, congratulations!
