A debutante party is already a special occasion — and Estella’s was one of the most beautifully imaginative celebrations we’ve documented. On the night before Thanksgiving, her family gathered their closest friends and family at a private venue for a whimsical, one-of-a-kind cocktail party in her honor.
The setting did half the work. The private location doubles as an art gallery, so the space was already filled with striking original art — and the family leaned right into it, letting the venue’s own character shape the whole evening. Out in the garden, statues and greenery set the scene while a musician serenaded guests from the seat of a vintage convertible (yes, really), and oversized lampshades floated overhead in the cocktail space like something out of a storybook. Even the food felt personal: rather than standard rentals, the family displayed everything on their own private collection of servingware — a small, thoughtful touch that made the night feel unmistakably theirs.
Whimsical, warm, and full of personality from the art on the walls to the flowers on the tables, it was exactly the kind of celebration we love to photograph here in the DFW area.
