There’s something quietly powerful about a simple, high-contrast maternity session. This mini session with Emily and Garett, photographed by CJ in our Fort Worth studio, is a beautiful reminder that timeless portraits don’t need much beyond good light and intention.
Located just off Magnolia on 6th Avenue, our natural-light studio offers a clean, minimal setting—perfect for maternity photos that feel elegant and personal. For their session, Emily wore a form-fitting black maxi dress that highlighted her growing bump beautifully. We used a deep black background and the studio’s white walls to create contrast and dimension, letting the focus stay on connection and anticipation.
In just a short session, we were able to document this sweet moment in their growing family’s journey. Expecting a baby girl, Emily and Garett kept the vibe simple, letting their emotion and energy lead the way.
