This past weekend Melissa & Carl got married in a sweet ceremony in the chapel at Christ Chapel Bible Church that was followed by an intimate reception at Times Ten Cellar.  I love when couples choose to do a first look and Melissa and Carl’s was so sweet. Oh, how I love this couple. They are just perfect for each other and so much fun to photograph.  Kristen & Will were married this past weekend at Perkins Chapel on SMU’s campus in Dallas.  They currently are living in Oklahoma but met at the University of Arkansas.  Kristen grew up in Dallas so naturally it is where they wanted to have their wedding.  The whole morning was full of anticipation as they waited anxiously to see each other, but once the chapel doors opened it was all smiles and laughing from then on.

I absolutely love photographing small, intimate weddings and Eileen and Aaron’s was one of my absolute favorites. you could feel how much love Eileen and Aaron have for each other and all week while working on their photos I continued to feel the warmth of their day. I loved getting to hang out with Liz & Josh this past weekend when they came into down from New Braunsfels. They filled me in how they met on New Years Eve a few years ago through mutual friends. Can I just say how much I love this couple?  Katlyn & Matt are so great together and they are so much fun to be around.  They were married this past weekend at TCU’s Robert Carr Chapel.  I think it was a long morning for both of them because they were both very anxious and excited to see each other and finally be married.  They followed their beautiful ceremony with a rockin’ reception at The Ashton Depot in Downtown Fort Worth.  Both Katlyn and Matt are big into wine and cigars, so naturally that theme occurred at their reception with wine corks for place card holders and their very own cigar roller.  Please take a minute to enjoy some of my favorite images from their beautiful Fort Worth wedding.

This weekend I am excited to be photographing Eileen & Aaron’s wedding in Grapevine.  It is going to be a small intimate affair with 25 of their closest friends and family.  I met up with them last Friday after they flew into town. They met over seas in Iraq when they were both their for work and did a majority of their planning from there. Aaron is super goofy and I love how he constantly was bringing a smile to Eileen’s face. I had so much fun this past week getting to know Katherine & Bret during their Fort Worth engagement session.  I loved when Katherine told me the story of her meeting Bret. Her friend had two guys she wanted her to meet  and set her up with but after meeting Bret she had no interest in meeting the second guy since she knew she had found the one. and didn’t need to keep on looking.
