There is a special kind of energy to a destination conference, and the Be Sage Conference 2024 in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico had it in spades. We traveled down to document the full experience, and this first look focuses on the heart of it: the conference coverage and breakout sessions.
For anyone unfamiliar, Be Sage is not your average industry event. Created in 2014 by Michelle Loretta of Be Sage Consulting, it was built specifically for experienced wedding and event business owners — the ones facing grown-up business challenges and craving education that actually meets them where they are. That depth showed up in every session.
Photographing an on-location, multi-day conference like this is all about capturing the layers. From keynote moments and intimate breakout sessions to the in-between glances, note-taking, and lightbulb moments, our job is to document the intricate details that tell the whole story — the kind of images a host can use to recap the event and promote the next one.
