Not everyone wants a big wedding. We get that. For many couples, a private elopement is ideal, whether it be a destination ceremony in the mountains or beachside, or a weekday afternoon at the courthouse. We are big fans of couples choosing what’s best for them when it comes to their wedding.
That said, sometimes after the intimate elopement you’ve dreamed of, you still want to celebrate with your nearest and dearest. In that case, a wedding reception can be a wonderful way to let your friends and family celebrate your nuptials, without all eyes on you as you say “I do.”
For Allisyn and Nate, a small reception at La Cour in Mckinney, Texas was the perfect way to commemorate their courthouse wedding, with dinner, dancing, toasts, and a fairytale sendoff. Basically it was a night full of fun and festivities.
