Gabby and Nick are two of the most laidback – and gorgeous – people I’ve ever met. So when it came to their wedding day, it was clear they wanted to spend as much time enjoying the day and their people as possible. That also meant they didn’t want to be worried or stressed, at all. So how did they do that?
Long before the wedding, they enlisted their team of vendors who would help bring their wedding vision to life. Having a detailed timeline helped ensure things would run as smoothly, and on schedule, as possible. They were also deliberate about inviting friends and family to serve in the wedding party who could calm any nerves, and help however needed, with smiles on their faces. Even the locations were thoughtfully chosen to reflect their personalities, from Gabby getting ready in her sister’s home, to the service taking place at their home church.
And because of all that, they were able to relax into their day, and enjoy themselves and the moments they got to share.
I think the way they looked at each other during the ceremony says it all. ‘Cause really, when you get to marry your best friend, everything else is just cake! (Or a cookie cake in their case!)
