Gabby and Nick are cool and laidback people, who knew they wanted a fun, but chill vibe at their wedding reception. So what did they do? Hire a DJ that caught their vision, and kept everything simple to keep the focus on the fun.
Bouquet and garter? Nope. Cake cutting? Nope; they’re not fans. They opted for a whole cookie table instead, including a great big chocolate chip cookie cake.
Absolute dance party? Absolutely! In fact, I rarely saw these two – or their parents! – leave the dance floor. Except for, that is, when the fire alarm was accidentally pulled by one of their youngest (baby) guests. After that intermission to go meet, thank and take photos with the Fort Worth firefighters it was right back to dancing the night away.
I’m so glad they got to enjoy the wedding exactly as they wanted. What a great reminder that there are no wedding rules you can’t break, when it comes to planning your big day!
