Choosing a reception location can be difficult and overwhelming. There are so many options in the DFW area! Something I have noticed that may be helpful when narrowing down your choices is making sure that it fits your style and personality. I love the Drover because it truly feels like Fort Worth. Being in the Stockyards, it’s got that country, rustic feel to it but in an elevated way. They have multiple spaces for different size events and a beautiful lawn that can accommodate a wedding ceremony or can be tented in order to extend the size of their ballroom. Kendall and Patrick had a pretty good sized guest count and opted to turn the lawn into a tented extension of the ballroom. With a clear tent and added chandeliers, it became a place where guests could retreat under the stars for more intimate conversation while the party happens inside.
