April and John are seriously cool people. And by that I mean that they are both relaxed and really fun to be around. I knew their wedding day was going to be a total blast. What I didn’t know is that I would quite literally laugh until my cheeks hurt, shed a few tears, and then witness some seriously epic dance moves before the day was done!
April started the day by getting ready at The Worthington Hotel with all her bridesmaids and the matriarchs of her family sharing a suite. I loved getting to see so many people enjoy time together, and then beaming with pride as they saw her in her gorgeous gown for the very first time.
Meanwhile, John was having a celebration of his own, as he got ready with his groomsmen, and his best friend (his dog) before making their way to the chapel.
Marty Leonard is a gorgeous place to get married, and the soon-to-be newlyweds were blessed with a truly beautiful day.
When it came time for the ceremony, John began to tear up. I have never seen a groom more overjoyed to marry his beautiful bride. Watching these two commit to one another, with the help of family members who participated in the ceremony, was really something special.
Then again, so was hanging out with their wedding party, enjoying the gorgeous weather, and watching the happy couple share a single Teddy Graham as a snack before their reception began.
If life and love are about both the big and little moments shared, spending the day with April and John, and their favorite people, was a really lovely chance to witness just that, the big and little kind of things that make marriage so fun and wonder-filled!
