After arriving at River Crest, Taylor and Travis made their grand entrance into the ballroom. They shared a very sweet first dance and then danced with their parents. We were able to sneak away for a few minutes and get some fun photos on the furniture that they had out on the patio, where they had little cigar bar set up. During dinner, Taylor made a change into her bridal jumpsuit and let her hair down, because this girl means business when it comes to partying and dancing! I’ve seen Taylor and Travis get down on the dance floor at other weddings, so I knew that they weren’t going to hold anything back during their own special day! They definitely had the time of their lives out on that dance floor and a few times up on the stage with the band! At one point the announcement was made that Texas Tech had won the basketball game and so Taylor put her TCU roots aside for a moment to help her new hubby cheer on the Red Raiders. What an amazing night it was! As the band started to wind down to the last song, the confetti cannons went off and confetti glittered the guests and the dance floor as they danced with the newlyweds one last time. It was then time for the guests to head out and for Taylor and Travis to have a moment to themselves with a private last dance. They held each other close and Taylor began to tear up because she didn’t want the night to end. I don’t blame her! It was such a great day and fun night, I didn’t want it to end either! Once their private dance was over, they made their way down the staircase as petals rained over their heads and they sent off to their Hawaiian honeymoon.
I cannot express how grateful I am to know this amazing couple and how blessed I was to have the opportunity to photograph so many special moments for them. Congratulations Taylor and Travis!
