It is always fun to get an extended family in front of my camera. It is so important to document your kids well beyond their child years and this Momma called me up to just that. We photographed their daughters wedding a few years ago so it was great to catch up and get them an updated family portrait. I loved their sweet granddaughter who was a complete ham for photos. Cedar Hill State Park’s Penn Farm was the perfect backdrop for their mini session!
Take it to heart and plan ahead and look to gather your family for an heirloom portrait like Sara did.
I am super proud of this family! I think as we age and grow up we forget to document who we are as a family with our siblings and parents. It is easy to get busy and only get together for a family photo at events and weddings. This 3 sibings pulled together their family as a gift to their Mom this holiday season. I think this is priceless and I hope more of my clients are inspired by this awesome photo shoot. Now, scheduling a large group can be hard so be sure to start brainstorming ideas well in advance. A 1 hour full session is perfect for a photo shoot like this as we were able to get so many combinations of the family, individual couples, kids and of course Mom! Thanks guys for trusting me to make this heirloom portrait for you all and I hope to do it again soon as your family continues to grow.
Pardon the long post but this has not one but TWO families in it! These sisters are SMART, smart, smart. They both have little babys just a few weeks apart and for the holidays they knew there would be no better gift than these precious gran babies all together for their family and pictures of their new little ones. Kelly and Rachel wrangled their husbands and kids and gave me 2 hours of their time so we could get photos of each family and all together. I had so much fun!
Look at sweet Jonah loving on his baby brother, Asher, and his cousin, Mabry. He is such a lover and was so excited to have both his babies with him!
Kelly and Joseph just had their first little one, Mabry. At 4 weeks she slept through the entire session and was all cute and squishy. I wanted to just squeeze her! They are one of past wedding clients so it was so cool to see how their lives have changed since the big day.
Rachel & Morgan have TWO boys! Big brother Jonah and baby Asher. Jonah was a bundle of energy and it was great to get to know them. He made silly faces and generally wanted to hug and kiss his brother.
Thanks guys for trusting me to capture this awesome time in your lives!
