Twenty years ago today, we photographed our first wedding—and unknowingly started something that would grow into Lightly Photography as it exists today.
What started with one camera and a lot of heart has become a portrait and event photography brand we’re so proud of. Over the years, we’ve photographed families, babies, high school seniors, branding sessions, corporate events, and celebrations of all kinds. Every single person who has stood in front of our camera holds a place in our hearts—and we’re endlessly thankful for you.

To celebrate 20 years in business, we gave our 1914 studio a much-deserved makeover. Our cozy craftsman bungalow at 1215 6th Ave in Fort Worth has a fresh new exterior color palette, a bigger shooting space (thanks to one less wall!), and updated interiors—from the bathroom and kitchen to our editing room and fireplace. It feels like a brand-new home for creativity, connection, and storytelling.
