Hope and Cameron are huge gamers, so when it came to plan their wedding reception they didn’t want a “typical” evening. They wanted something that felt like them… FUN!
That’s why they chose to transform their reception venue, The Ostreum, into a bonafide arcade, complete with everything from card games and Guitar Hero, to a claw machine and ice hockey!!
Guests had such a great time utilizing the many games, and Hope and Cameron had plenty of time to mingle, and even score a few prizes themselves.
Their day was such a great reminder that there really are no rules when it comes to wedding planning. You can truly do what you want to make the day your own! In their case, that included transforming several tables into a huge grazing station full of finger foods and charcuterie, and then later having a wood-fired pizza buffet. They also had custom playing cards made, which doubled as entertainment and a totally unique take-home for guests.
Oversized Jenga blocks made a non-traditional – and super fun – guestbook alternative, and while there was a dance floor set up in the center of the space, near their gorgeous long head table, there was also a ping pong station, something so many weddings are missing. 😉
I absolutely loved spending the day with these two and their amazing group of friends and family. I’m so glad they created a day totally their own.
