Hannah + Rodrigo | Intimate Home Wedding Ceremony + Brunch Reception

Coronavirus has changed so much in the last few months. But one thing it hasn’t changed is that couples in love will find a way to marry. As the classic line from When Harry Met Sally goes, “When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.”

For Hannah and Rodrigo that meant having a charming and intimate wedding at a family home in Fort Worth. After changing their plans due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the couple had to deal with an hour-long power outage. But nothing could stop them from making it to the altar!

Before saying I Do, there in the living room, Hannah had a dear friend, her sister, mother and daughter there to help her get ready. Rodrigo got ready in a nearby bedroom, making sure to keep in touch with his parents and daughter via Facetime and Zoom.

After light was restored they said their vows before their handful of guests and more loved ones following along online.

I love that they didn’t sacrifice an ounce of style or coffee, either, when they changed their plans. The couple’s vendor team led up by Julep Events helped transform the space into a beautiful backdrop for their ceremony and brunch-themed reception, complete with a coffee bar! What a fun way to spend a day together, complete with virtual toasts and a sabre cake cutting!

Congratulations to this beautiful couple, and their family. It was an honor and a joy to witness your wedding day! Seeing you handle so many challenges in stride just tells me what a strong foundation you get to start your marriage, and this next chapter, on.
