Rachel + Andrew | Intimate Wedding Ceremony at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fort Worth, TX

It’s been hard to stay positive during these uncertain times of the coronavirus and the wedding world is no different, but it’s the little moments of love and hope that are getting us through. Today was supposed to be Rachel and Andrew’s wedding day, but due to the quarantines and social distancing guidelines, they decided to go ahead and move up the date of their wedding and have a small and intimate ceremony where only their parents and siblings were in attendance. Thanks to modern technology, they were able to live stream the ceremony so all of their family and friends could “attend”. What a beautiful thing to witness, that even though their original plans had to be changed and the celebration rescheduled, they could still rejoice in the joining together in marriage. Once they were officially husband and wife, they were greeted with a small group of friends who had parked across the street from the church to see them off. They had watched the live stream from the safety of their cars and were there to make a lot of noise and cheering as Rachel and Andrew exited the church. It was such a special thing for me to be a part of their wedding and I was so privileged to be one of the 10 that were able to participate. No matter what happens in this world and how hard it is, love wins.
