Kaitlyn and George are the epitome of the modern power couple. They’re two smart, passionate, driven people, who together make one great team. From their vows, to the toasts in their honor, it was so clear that they root for one another, and spur each other on towards greatness.
They also just really like each other, which you can tell from spending any time at all with them. Whether making each other laugh, or cuddling to keep warm, they definitely know how to have fun together.
And since this dynamic duo met and fell in love at TCU, it was only fitting that they get married there too.
Their winter wedding at Robert Carr Chapel was equal parts elegance and whimsy. For example, Kaitlyn’s dress was a gorgeous lace number that went perfectly with both her stylish gold heels, and later her dancing shoes (glittery Kate Spade Keds, naturally!). And George made sure his Horned Frog spirit was on bold display with an amazing purple bowtie, cufflinks and matching velvet loafers! I loved that he proudly rocked his own unique style.
It was also super evident how much they love their families. Both Kaitlyn’s mom and George’s were there as she got ready. Both their dads even stopped by to offer moral support and help pop the champagne!
And even I teared up a little when Kaitlyn’s dad saw her for the first time. He just looked so unbelievably proud, and happy for his little girl. George’s mom went the other route, teasing and making silly faces at her son, which helped lift everyone’s spirits after the ceremony.
I really enjoyed spending the day with Kaitlyn, George, and their entire entourage.
