Everything about Audrey and Cole’s big day could be described as classic and elegant. From Audrey’s dress to the venues and band. It was just timeless. They held their ceremony in the beautiful sanctuary at the First United Methodist Church in Downtown Fort Worth. It was so sweet as Audrey walked down the aisle on her dad’s arm and started to cry as she got closer to Cole at the altar. After lighting their unity candle, they and the congregation sang a hymn. I thought this was a beautiful and unique touch since both Audrey and Cole are such musical people. After they were pronounced husband and wife, they made their way back to the small chapel where they partook of communion privately together. What a sweet thing for them to be able to do together.
We headed over to the Fort Worth Club where the room was filled with all of their friends and family and dinner music playing. The newlyweds were introduced and went into their first dance. I loved the poise and elegance these two had as they danced together. Audrey and Cole then shared some special dances with their parents. These dances always hit me right in the feels! After cake cutting and some sweet toasts given by their siblings, it was open dancing and mingling! The evening went exactly as I remember Audrey describing to me how she wanted it to go. They were able to talk with all of their guests and still have time for some light dancing to the classic playlist provided by Trey and the Tritones. Before they headed off to Hawaii on their honeymoon, Audrey and Cole shared one last private dance and then were off! I am so glad to have been part of their big day!
Congratulations to Audrey and Cole!
