I absolutely loved getting to spend time with Sarah and Stuart for their engagement session! They are too cute together and so much fun to hang out with. We started off at Highland Park where everything is oh so lush and green! It made for the perfect backdrop. We then headed over to Klyde Warren Park where we dodged soccer balls, dogs and envied people with ice cream cones. I think we probably should have treated ourselves haha! One of the things we knew we really wanted was to have some great skyline shots and this park did not disappoint! It was the perfect setting at sunset to see all of the lights on the buildings in the background. Enjoy some of my favorites from their Dallas engagement session and take a moment to read their sweet proposal story!
“I planned a trip to Fredericksburg, TX for my 31st birthday. I LOVE my birthday, always have. Poor Stuart had to meet almost all of my friends and my entire immediate family at my huge 30th birthday party that I threw, only two months into dating! But back to my 31st birthday, we had the majority of the day to ourselves before my sister, cousin, Mom and Dad drove up for the evening from San Antonio to have dinner with us. Stuart took me to a small winery (1851), where we had a private wine tour. The winery went all out and got us a cute table with some wine under a huge oak tree. Stuart is big into the latest tech so was excited to show off a new tripod he has gotten to take 360 photos with (but was actually where he hid the ring for the trip!). After he set up the camera I noticed something in his back pocket and had a moment of shock/excitement thinking he was going to propose…which he did! It was perfect and the few other patrons at the winery cheered and applauded when I said yes! They were so nice to even write us well wishes on the back of a wine menu, which we intend to frame.” – Sarah
I cannot wait for their wedding this fall!
