Lauren and Tanner are such a sweet couple, thoughtful, caring and obviously super cute together. They’re also both band directors, who share a deep passion for music, particularly percussion, which you could pick up on from the various musical touches sprinkled throughout their day.
After meeting their families at the wedding, though, it was plain to see they have one other important thing in common. They come from two great families, each with a legacy of love and support, which was on full display!
From a borrowed handkerchief, which came in handy wiping happy tears during the ceremony, to a beautiful collection of vintage cake toppers belonging to the couples that showed these two what marriage is all about… Nanny’s World Famous Pecan Pie on the dessert table, and a borrowed Something Blue garter… there were so many wonderful signs everywhere of how well these two have been taught to love. But my favorite might just be the Anniversary Dance! How wonderful to see these newlyweds surrounded by so many veteran couples out there.
It was also clear how well Lauren and Tanner love those around them. From friends who gave moving – and hilarious – speeches, to the unmistakable joy of everyone who was able to share in their celebration, including their sweet pup. (And FYI, conga lines – and multiple cupcake flavors – are always a good idea!)
I am so honored to have been a part of this special day, Lauren and Tanner, and know there are great things in store for you!
