Jess and Bobby are basically like my spirit animals. Their love of sports and Harry Potter are enough to make me jump up and down with excitement. Bobby proposed to Jess at the Rangers Ballpark and that’s where we took their engagement photos. Jess surprised Bobby by taking her bridal portraits at Cowboys Stadium (AT&T Stadium) and their ring box looked like the 7th Harry Potter book. I mean I geeked out a little getting to know these two! Jess and Bobby were married at Piazza in the Village in Colleyville and they made sure to incorporate all of these things into their wedding. They had “Always” written across the floor at the beginning of the aisle, and the ring bearers carried the Harry Potter ring box to surprise Bobby. There was a lot of surprising Bobby throughout the day. After the ceremony Jess gave Bobby his next surprise, which was a small canvas of one of her Dallas Cowboys bridal portraits. It was so much fun to watch him open it. Their reception was held in the ballroom and was lit with blue uplighting and red table linens (Rangers colors) and the grooms cake had the logos from the Stars, Rangers and Cowboys. Their guests signed a baseball bat as they entered that would later hang in their house. Once it was time for the toast, it was also time for another surprise. Bobby knew his step-dad was prepared to give a toast, what he didn’t know was that he was going to make Bobby sing! Apparently in his school days, Bobby played Danny in Grease. Naturally, we all needed to see his performance and he absolutely killed it! After that it was all about the dancing. All of their guests loved to dance, but nobody as much as Jess and Bobby. Those two had several dance-offs and threw out moves that I’d never before witnessed. They definitely accomplished their goal of throwing a fun party! But all good things must come to an end and while their guests lined up outside, Jess and Bobby had one last dance alone as newlyweds. They then were sent off through a tunnel of pom poms and left for their honeymoon in Bora Bora. I am so excited for them and am so glad that they chose me to capture their special day. Congrats to Jess and Bobby!
