April showers bring May flowers. That’s what I feel like all of April has been this year, is just straight rain day after day. And of course it threatened to rain, once again, on Jennifer and Alex’s wedding day, but we got very lucky and it held off! It was a great day for a beautiful garden wedding with a beautiful couple. Both Jenn and Alex seemed to be a little anxious while they were getting ready, which is why I am so glad they decided to do a first look. I had spent the morning with Jenn and her girls but I didn’t get to see Alex until we were getting him ready to see his bride. I was telling him how amazing she looked and when I saw her coming toward him in the distance, I said “oh here she comes” and he was overcome with emotion. I know he was so ready to see his gorgeous future wife. After they saw each other for the first time, nerves started to calm and we had some fun just being in the garden and taking some photos. They had their intimate ceremony in front of the gazebo in the Fuller Gardens and it was the perfect setting. They were so sweet as they read their vows to each other and Alex was making Jenn have a little giggle fit. It was just the sweetest! Please enjoy some of my favorites from their first look and ceremony and be sure to check back soon for more from their Colonial Country Club reception!
