How cute are these two?  I met up with Rachelle and Ryan in Dallas for their engagement session. They were so giggly in the beginning and kept it going all the way to the end, it was adorable.  I love it when my couples can have fun during their photos! Rachelle and Ryan will be getting married in Fort Worth this Fall and I cannot wait!!

These two travel for work and met while in Indiana.  They kept in touch and when Christin was re-located close by to TJ for work a few months later, these two started to date!  They love to travel and have a Dalmation named Jewels who made a guest appearance at their session!  Check out some of my favorite moments from their session!

Carter Ann & Michael – Engagement at the Dallas Arboretum & White Rock LakeDallas, Texas

These two met in high school but it wasn’t until Michael returned from his deployment to finish school at Texas Tech did they start dating!  I loved getting to know them during their engagement session!  Here’s how Michael popped the question:

My family used to ranch out in West Texas and I have a cousin who still lives there with his wife and 2 adorable kids. We’re all really close and go out to visit any chance we get. As a little girl I’d always go explore the sand hills and look for arrowheads. We went to go visit over 4th of July weekend and we all went out to the old ranch to drive around. We stopped at my old sand hills and decided to go hunt for arrowheads. As we climbed to the top Michael pointed over my shoulder and asked if that looked like and old Indian dugout, when I turned back around he was down on one knee! It was almost 10 years to the day after we’d met.

Can’t wait for their wedding next year!

Jenn and Mitch – Engagement Session at Klyde Warren Park and White Rock LakeDallas, TX

I am beyond excited to share this cute couple’s engagement session!  I had so much fun hanging with Jenn, Mitch and their dogs Sasha and Zoe!  I have so many wonderful couples and Jenn and Mitch are definitely no exception.  They are some of the sweetest people and their two dogs were absolutely precious. We had a blast getting Sasha and Zoe in some of the photos.  They were so good at posing for the camera but also so playful at the same time.  They all completely melted my heart.  Jenn and Mitch will be getting married in October and I cannot wait for their big day!

Janey and Collin – Engagement Session at Dallas Arboretum and White Rock LakeDallas, TX

With all of the threat of rain and having to reschedule once before, I was a little worried we would have to postpone again!  Luckily everything cleared and up and I met up with Janey and Collin at the Arboretum and it was a beautiful day!  I loved getting to hang out with these two.  They are the cutest and so incredibly happy.  It is a difficult thing not to smile when you are around them! Their love and happiness is definitely infections, my face hurt after their session from all of the smiling!  After the Arboretum, we headed over to White Rock Lake which is where Collin proposed to Janey when he told her that he wanted to take her to look at a sailboat.  Janey and Collin are a genuinely sweet couple and I am beyond excited to photograph their wedding this September!

Stephanie and Patrick – Engagement Session at The Dallas Arboretum and White Rock LakeDallas, TX

I am so excited to share Stephanie and Patrick’s engagement session!  I met up with these two at the Dallas Arboretum for the first part of their session.  We thought we were going to have bad weather, but luckily the sun started to pop out as we started and it was absolutely gorgeous by the time we got to the lake.  Stephanie is a TCU Horned Frog like me and Patrick has just moved here to Texas from New York, and I have never been so aware of how many times I say the word, Y’all.  I love when I can joke and poke fun with my couples.  It makes everything just a little bit more fun!  Stephanie and Patrick will be getting married in September and I can’t wait!

Nicki and Kenny – Engagement SessionKlyde Warren Park and White Rock Lake - Dallas, TX

It’s December and Fall has finally arrived in Texas!  It was a little bit chilly outside but man was it pretty.  I met up with Nicki and Kenny at Klyde Warren Park for a little bit more of a city vibe and then we headed over to White Rock Lake.  With all of the leaves finally changing colors it was the perfect fall backdrop for their engagements!  I absolutely loved getting to hang out with Nicki and Kenny.  They are just as cute as they can be and I always have a soft spot for my fellow Horned Frogs!  I cannot wait for their wedding next year!  Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
