Brianna & Ross got married in Hawaii (yes please!) and chose to have a reception here in Fort Worth for friends and family who couldn’t make it. These two cuties met at TCU, so of course we had to go there to get some photos before the reception. Let me tell you, these two are troopers! It was a hot day, and by hot I mean Texas hot but they still walked around campus to get some photos! We were able to explore the galleries at the Modern Art Museum, which is one of my favorite places here in Fort Worth. They had a beautiful, candlelight dinner with some toasts and cake cutting to finish up the night. I am so thankful these two allowed me to be a part of their day!

I absolutely love getting to go back to campus, especially when I get to photograph a wedding or any other session there! Sara & Matt met through a mutual friend at TCU and Matt proposed at Frog Fountain, so it was only right to have their portraits done on campus. Matt actually proposed to Sara on his birthday while she was trying to throw him a surprise party. How cute is that? His birthday party turned into a surprise engagement party! Sara & Matt are very much into Horned Frog football and go to many of the games, so I love that we were able to use the stadium for some of their photos. I am very much looking forward to their wedding in January! Please enjoy some of my favorites from their TCU engagement session.
I had so much fun the other week with Erin & Franklin. We were battling the icky weather that kept threatening a downpour that never came. Erin really likes greenery so we started with some green doors and beautiful vines on the TCU campus and then headed to the Botanic Gardens. We then ventured over to Arlington to one of my favorite bakeries, Sugar Bee Sweets. We enjoyed getting o sample all the amazing goodies. Here are some of my favorite from Erin & Franklin’s engagement session.
After exploring Downtown Fort Worth, we ended with some photos around TCU’s campus. Since this is where they met, there were a few special spots they wanted to go to. Frog Fountain is a must for any TCU grad. Then it was finally the time they had both been waiting so anxiously for. Such beautiful words were spoken and music played during their ceremony that I caught myself trying not to tear up. After the ceremony they were all ready to get their party on at The Ashton Depot and they did just that. They danced all night long with their guests to the music played by the talented Memphis Soul band. I am so happy that I was able to be part of their day and to know such a wonderful couple. Congratulations Kaitlynn and Andrew! I wish you all the best.
A special thanks to all of the amazing vendors who helped make everything so beautiful!
