Last weekend we had so much fun shooting Easter themed mini sessions that were filled with bold and bright colors! We had a fabulously styled set by Birds of a Feather Events and yummy treats for the kids to eat. It was so much fun having all the kids show their unique expressions and just having fun! Peepz, our resident bunny rabbit even had fun and was a definite hit! . We are so excited about our plans or upcoming mini’s as well. Stay tuned for information about an outdoor kids/family date next month just in time for Mothers Day! One of my favorite things is photographing families who make each other laugh all the time. The Mauk Family was just that! We had a blast just shooting around our studio. Shannon bought her in laws a family portrait as a Christmas gift because they hadn’t had an updated one in a while. It was great getting to meet this family and joke around with them! Last week I met up with some of my past clients, Maria and John and their cute puppies! I am a HUGE dog lover so this session was a blast for me. Last week I got to meet Josh and Kelly and their 3 beautiful little girls. Kelly wanted to make sure they had family photos for Josh to have while he is deployed in Afghanistan. I love taking photos for military families since I came from one myself and love that there is Operation Love ReUnited that gives military families the opportunity to get their portraits done.  Last week I was so honored to get to photograph little Jameson for his six month photos.  I have known both his parents since our days back at Boles Junior High and worked with Debra when she and Robby reconnected on Myspace. I was excited to get to meet their sweet  little boy and can’t wait to see how they continue to grow as a  family.

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Sandi Graham, a dietitian in Arlington, TX. I got to photograph her for her website she is currently working on. Since I turned  30 this past year I am beginning to try and take better care of myself so it was great speaking with Sandi in regards to make sure you take the correct path to health through eating well and exercising.
