The Sellers family are friends with a few of my other clients so I was excited to meet them and their two little ones, Liz and Sloan.  I love these sisters and how different they are yet perfectly matched personality wise.  Having two kids of my own I always love seeing the dynamics between siblings, and however different, they usually compliment one another well.  Mom, Tracy, did a great job on outfits as I always love a pop of red from the sisters sweet heart sweaters to her own red heels and belt.

Pardon the long post but this has not one but TWO families in it!  These sisters are SMART, smart, smart.  They both have little babys just a few weeks apart and for the holidays they knew there would be no better gift than these precious gran babies all together for their family and pictures of their new little ones.  Kelly and Rachel wrangled their husbands and kids and gave me 2 hours of their time so we could get photos of each family and all together.  I had so much fun!

Look at sweet Jonah loving on his baby brother, Asher, and his cousin, Mabry.  He is such a lover and was so excited to have both his babies with him!

Kelly and Joseph just had their first little one, Mabry.  At 4 weeks she slept through the entire session and was all cute and squishy.  I wanted to just squeeze her!  They are one of past wedding clients so it was so cool to see how their lives have changed since the big day.

Rachel & Morgan have TWO boys!  Big brother Jonah and baby Asher.  Jonah was a bundle of energy and it was great to get to know them.  He made silly faces and generally wanted to hug and kiss his brother.

Another one of my amazing wedding clients back to update their pictures for the holidays!  Audra and Matt were married a few years ago and she has made it a yearly ritual to come  back for more pictures.  I love that!  It’s hard to believe but I think Audra and Matt have only grown more in love since their wedding and I swear she is more beautiful every time I see her.  Matt, you are ONE lucky man!  It was great seeing y’all again.

Kim and Andy were married a few years ago and had their wedding photographed by Sarah Rizy.  I was excited to get to know them more and work with them for a mini session over the weekend for some updated portraits.  I love these two’s laid back spirit’s and complete sweetness on one another.  Always good to see couples continuing to act like newlyweds!  Thanks guys for continuing to trust us to capture your lives!  We so enjoy you!

These sisters were super sweet and each so unique in their personalities.  It was great to finally meet this family as my team has been able to photograph them before through Operation Love Reunited.  We met this family at the airport when Dad was coming home from deployment so it was great to see them all together and expecting baby number 4!  I know they will be finding out any day now if it’s a boy or girl and these sisters are split on if they want a brother or another sister.  I hope regardless the baby is healthy and perfect!

Tate is a munchkin full of energy and a boy to the bone and that made me just fall for him completely.  He completely reminds me of my own silly boys.  Tate’s Mom and Dad are another of my past wedding clients so it was great to catch up and meet this little guy.  You can tell how much fun he has with his parents in these two photos with each parent.  I love his energy and his sweetness.

Addy is WALKING!!!! I am so excited and can not believe how big this little girl is getting.  It was last Winter when I photographed her newborn photos and watching her grow has been amazing.  She will be one soon but Megan and Austin wanted to get some holiday portraits before we glam it up and get girly for her one year celebration.  They joined me at one of my favorite rustic vintage locations to play and Addy cracked me up with some CRAZY faces.  Her personality is definitely forming and she gets more and more like her Mommy every time I see her.

Flying!!!

OH how I could photograph these two for hours.  I wanted to keep them and take them for hot chocolate and play some more.  Josephine and Eliza are dolls and have personality to boot.  Josie (the BIG sister) is super silly and loved hamming it up for the camera.  Eliza is sweet and I loved her playful attitude.  The parents, Hayden & Alison were pretty cool too.  I just loved photographing this family at one of our rustic urban locations near by our studio in Fort Worth.

p.s. I think I have fallen in love with children and family portraits.  Weddings you still have a big chunk of my heart but portraits are creeping their way in there.

OK, enough with the cuteness of the little ones, here is the entire family looking amazing.

These last two photos make me joyful, they completely capture the essence of these two girls personalities at PLAY.

I loved getting to photograph MK & Charlie last week.  We had already rescheduled their session once because of the rain and when the tornadoes hit the metroplex on Tuesday we worried we would have to reschedule again. However the sky cleared and gave us a beautiful day on Wednesday.  MK & Charlie wanted a rustic and urban feel for their photos. We started a Van Zandt Cottage which is one of my favorite places in the city. We then went to some urban walls near by our studio. I loved the scrabble pieces they brought along with them which we used playing  around with spelling a few different words.  Here are some of my favorites from their Fort Worth engagement session.

Allison and Joe have become like family over the years. I have been photographing their family for about 2 years now and Joe was the last to get married from the Whitmer clan. Their wedding was a beautiful country wedding out on their families ranch in Oakwood, TX. I photographed Joe’s brother Daniel out at this same spot a couple of years ago-so it was great getting to come back and create more memories for them! These two shared a unique kind of love, with Joe’s silliness and Allison’s beauty both inside and out. Many laughs were shared that night, as well as a few tears-even by me! This family really means the world to me and I can’t wait for the next wedding (although they assure me it’ll be awhile). Here are some of my favorites…there were too many to choose from!
