These two get married next year and I am so excited. They were so sweet together during their session while we explored the Japanese Gardens and Trinity Park. They chose to wear Oklahoma University shirts for the second part of of their session which is really fun. A cool fact about these two is that they are both high school Band teachers! I love it! I think I have always been amazed at people who are musical and secretly wish I was musically inclined! Check out some of my favorite moments from their session.
This little nugget is 18 months and getting SO big! Vera is a sweet little thing with lots of sass and I always love getting to have her and her darling family in front of our camera’s. For this photo shoot we met up at a nature location for some fun in the sun and wagon rides! Big brother, Oliver was super excited to be in the wagon but Vera wanted it all to herself! Can you blame her?
I had the opportunity to get to know these two during their engagement session a few months back in Dallas. Engagement sessions are a great time for me to get to know my couples, how they met, and what they do for fun but during their session they kept asking questions about ME! This blew me away and was just the start of getting to know their sweet and generous characters. I knew their wedding day would be one full of laughter and joy! These two chose to do a first look in one of the gardens at the Arboretum, and it was nothing short of great! We had a lot of fun snapping some pictures before the wedding around some of the pretty places in the Arboretum. They said “I Do” under a beautiful arbor decorated with flowers that one of their dad’s made. The sun setting, the arbor, and the lush garden set the scene for their happy ceremony. Check out some of my favorite moments from the first part of their day!

Brigit and Lucas are such a fun and sweet couple! They are having an intimate wedding next month at Reata (yum!). I enjoyed getting to know them as we walked around Dallas and explored the areas around Klyde Warren Park. Brigit has a great smile and looked great (shout out to Fallon from Love + Pout Makeup). For our second location we went to the Bishop Arts District and Brigit wore a fun pair of red shoes! I can’t wait for their wedding! Check out a few of my favorite moments from their shoot.
This family is the BEST! We love being able to catch up with these guys during their session and see how much the kiddos have grown. This family is always looking stylish, especially Benton with her adorable polka dotted dress. Although she was a little camera shy we got some great smiles out of her eventually! Jacks has developed into an adventures and joyful little guy! We love being able to capture sweet moments with this family. Check out some of the images from our Fall mini session!

Caleb turned one this month! It is such an honor to photograph milestones of past wedding clients, especially when their first child turns one! Caleb was a curious little guy, and loved showing off his walking skills for us. The family dogs came along for the session and even made it into a few pictures. Happy birthday Caleb!

Hannah is 5 months old and just as sweet as ever!! We were so excited to photograph this little munchkin again! She is so smiley and giving so many expressions these days. Hannah loves it when her mommy and daddy read to her, when Grandma sings “I’m a Little Tea Pot”, and swinging her new swing! She also enjoys being outside at the park. We love having the opportunity to photograph this sweet family just doing what they do in their everyday lives. Can’t wait til the next time!

This small fry is ONE! Parker isn’t so small anymore as I was lucky to celebrate his big FIRST birthday with him last week. It was so neat that Mom scheduled the photo shoot for his actual birthday so we ate cake, made a mess, played with balloons and ran all over the place! Parker is walking, smiling big, getting excited about life and starting to talk. I am just so proud of him and all he has learned this year! So glad Mom and Dad were able to jump into some photos with their little man. With all the May rain one of my favorite parks has a pond that is overflowing but simply stunning right now!
