Baby Adelaide is here and is PRECIOUS!  This sweet little dumpling gave me baby fever and as tempted as I was to keep her I did return her to new Mommy Cashen at the end of their session.  This little doll has joined our first year program so I can’t wait to see her bud into a princess full of personality!  See you soon little one!

I love babies!  Every time I am chosen to photograph the squishy perfect newness of a little life my heart gets a little soft.  It has become one of my favorite types of sessions and as more of our past bride and grooms choose to lay their trust in us for the next big step in their lives it was time for me to lay myself in some one else’s hands for some one on one training.  Education is a key aspect in all professions and I hope I never stop learning as it keeps me in love with what I do.  I began the search for a newborn photographer to train beside over a year ago and finally settled on My Newborn is Art out of Salt Lake City.  So I packed my bags and caught a plane, leaving lovely warm Texas to arrive in a snow filled landscape with mountains!  I spent one full day with Chelsea in her tiny, hot studio and two families with their precious ones.  I learned so much from her and she confirmed so much of what I already knew.  She encouraged me and inspired me.  Here are some images of one little man and two twin boys that I created along side Chelsea and some photos of her in action posing and teaching me.

Spring is here and babies are popping up on my facebook news feed daily.  I was thrilled to hear from Kelly & Levi that they were expecting.  We photographed their wedding a few years ago and we love to see our families grow!  Little boy Graham will be here before they know it and I can’t wait to meet him.  His Momma and Daddy sure look great and I know they can’t wait to hold him.

Little Journey is 6 months!  She is a lady with a discerning nature and stranger danger has set in early.  Despite her little one fears you can see we were able to get her warmed up and looking oh so cute and happy.  I loved her little smile and giggle.  Sometimes when she laughed she would hold her arms out in front and shake with her belly laugh, it was really sweet.  Can’t wait to see her again this week for Easter Mini sessions on Saturday along with her brother.  Easter sessions are sold out and we are going to have an amazing time!

Look at that sleepy head!  Oh, he was TIRED but he fought me and fought me and I was victorious.  He did sleep and get all squishy for me but because he was SO alert we also got some sweet photos of him eyes bright and wide!  Welcome to the World little One!

AHHHH, look at that sweetness.  I want to scoop her up, squeeze her little body and love on her again!  Her session was so much fun and I just didn’t want her to go home with Mommy and Daddy when it was over.  I love my little girl clients because at my house it’s all BOYS!  Michele was an angel for us and I know she is a complete blessing at her house.  She joined us on January 2nd at 8lbs 7oz and 20 inches long.  Pure beauty and I can’t wait to watch her grow this year.

OH MY GOODNESS!  Preston is SO sweet and squishy and perfect in every way.  I was thrilled to meet the little one, he is the son of my past bride and groom, Summer and Paul.  It was awesome to hang out with his Mom and him for a few hours last week.  We caught up, talked and I loved on this little guy.  He reminds me of my son, Gideon with his little pouty lips.  Welcome little one, you have a great life ahead of you and two amazing parents that are going to guide you into a great man.

Welcome to the world Hudson Ross!  Little Hudson was born on 12.2.12 at 21 inches long and 6.4 pounds.  He was so sweet for me during his newborn session as he practically slept through the entire thing.  I loved his little sleepy smiles like the one caught above and his cooing as he dreamed soft baby dreams.  I can’t wait to see this precious angel turn into a strapping boy over the next year!  Hudson’s Mommy & Daddy joined us for a few photos and their first family portrait.

Pardon the long post but this has not one but TWO families in it!  These sisters are SMART, smart, smart.  They both have little babys just a few weeks apart and for the holidays they knew there would be no better gift than these precious gran babies all together for their family and pictures of their new little ones.  Kelly and Rachel wrangled their husbands and kids and gave me 2 hours of their time so we could get photos of each family and all together.  I had so much fun!

Look at sweet Jonah loving on his baby brother, Asher, and his cousin, Mabry.  He is such a lover and was so excited to have both his babies with him!

Kelly and Joseph just had their first little one, Mabry.  At 4 weeks she slept through the entire session and was all cute and squishy.  I wanted to just squeeze her!  They are one of past wedding clients so it was so cool to see how their lives have changed since the big day.

Rachel & Morgan have TWO boys!  Big brother Jonah and baby Asher.  Jonah was a bundle of energy and it was great to get to know them.  He made silly faces and generally wanted to hug and kiss his brother.
