I loved getting to know Kelly and Chris during their engagement session. These two met at church here in Fort Worth and love biking and being out in nature. We chose the Botanic Garden to take some photos and then headed over to the water gardens. They tie the knot this summer at the Historic 512 (also known as the YWCA). Can’t wait! Here are a few of my favorites from their session.
On rare occasions does it occur that you get the most perfect sunset light, but let me tell you folks, we got it! After the ceremony we took some fun wedding party photos outside and just as the sun was setting and creating a wonderful golden glow I was able to snap some photos of Brooke and Robby! They will make you swoon, and if that isn’t perfect enough the wind caught Brooke’s veil in one of the photos which created a gorgeous moment! Check out that moment and their reception below!
Special thanks to all the vendors:
I can’t tell you how excited I was to photograph this wedding. I met Alexis and Joshua many months back when I did their engagement session in Fort Worth. They were naturals in front of the camera and and had a natural joy about them. These two decided to tie the knot at the Omni Hotel in Dallas on a windy Texas day. Before the ceremony Alexis had a first look with her dad that was a super sweet moment. Her dad wore some awesome cuff links with pictures of him and Alexis from when she was a toddler. Love it! Check out some of my favorite moments from the first part of their day!
Special thanks to all the great vendors:
Brigit & Lucas chose to have their intimate wedding and reception at The Reata in downtown Fort Worth. With only their closest family and friends there, they said “I do” in the rooftop dome and immediately followed with a great dinner and mingling. Instead of dancing this couple chose to have a variety of games for their guests to play! Take a look at a view of my favorite moments from the day!
Special thanks to all the vendors!
I had the pleasure of photographing Diana’s bridal before her engagement, so I knew I would have a great time getting to know her special guy, Kylan. These two met at TCU so of course we had to take some photos on campus. We had some beautiful weather and were able to snap some photos with their sweet pups, Dottie and Dash. After, we went to the Bass Hall that was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Diana wore a gorgeous red dress the complimented her surroundings. I can’t wait for their wedding! Check out some of my favorite moments from their session.

OH MY GOODNESS! These kids cracked me up, wore me out and sent me home smiling. Last weekend my studio was filled with laughter and lots of cute valentines clad children for our themed mini sessions for the upcoming holiday. I loved my Valentines set this year complete with a vibrant red and white Chevron backdrop with heart accents and a home made kissing booth. It was actually really fun to make and I was super proud of myself for making it from some photo inspiration alone! For a POP of color the AWESOME Tami Winn of Le Fleur Couture provided us with LOVE letters bursting with green flowers. It was adorable and the perfect accent for our set! These styled kids portrait sessions in Fort Worth are some of my favorite each year and I am stoked for the ideas I have up my sleeves for 2013!
