Jessica & Seth – Wedding Ceremony & Reception at the Piazza in the VillageColleyville, Texas

Jessica and Seth are married! From the moment I met Jessica and her mom at her bridal, I knew this would be a good wedding! Jessica’s sweet and joyful demeanor could only mean that her fiance was just as nice! Jessica and Seth got married on a beautiful, Texas Fall day surrounded by close friends and family at the Piazza in Colleyville.  After dinner, the dance floor stayed packed!  Jessica was a Rangerette in College and several other girls there were Rangerettes too.  You know there were some good dance moves!  Several times throughout the night I noticed Seth giving Jessica a sweet kiss on the forehead when people weren’t looking which I was able to catch.  These two were sweet together and I am thankful I had the chance to capture their special day!

Emily & Tyler – Getting Ready and Ceremony at the Grand IvoryLeonard, Texas

Emily and Tyler are genuinely some of the nicest people I have met.  Their story is sweet, special, and uniquely theirs.  One of my favorite parts of my job is getting to know my couples stories and sharing in their excitement about their big day.  The day was filled with love as they surrounded themselves with friends and family from near and far.  Check out some of my favorite moments from the first part of their day!

Daniella & Stephen – Getting Ready and First Look at the Worthington HotelFort Worth, Texas

Get ready folks for the cutest couple!  Daniella and Stephen are not only adorable together, but they are some of the sweetest people.  These two currently live in New York (yes please!) but chose to get married at St. Patrick Cathedral with a reception at the Ashton Depot!  These two got ready at the Worthington Hotel and chose to have their first look on the rooftop before the ceremony.  Let me tell you, I don’t think any of us had dry eyes!  We also had the opportunity to take a pit stop at the Kimbell Art Museum for some fun wedding party photos!  Check out some of my favorite moments from the first part of their day!

Kelsey & Kal – Engagement Session at the Dallas Arboretum & White Rock LakeDallas, Texas

Kelsey and Kal sat in cubicles next to each other at work for about a year before they started dating!  A mutual friend invited them to a concert, and that’s where there story began.  These two were the sweetest and I love their proposal story shared below in Kelsey’s own words:

We went to visit a friend and her husband in San Antonio and had planned to go to the river walk and Fredericksburg while we were down there. On Saturday morning, Kal said he knew of a neat place to eat lunch on the river walk so we drove down there. As we were walking on the river walk, he showed me a place called ‘marriage island’ (which I had never heard of at the time). There were rose petals sprinkled and our names and picture hanging from the tree. He got down on one knee and proposed. My mom, dad and sister were hiding out taking pictures and videos and surprised me. It was absolutely perfect!

Check out some of my favorite moments from their engagement session!

Jen & Marc – Wedding Ceremony & Reception at the Historic 512Fort Worth, TX

Jen and Marc got married on a Wednesday at the Historic 512!  What makes this fun is that these two decided to tie the know on November 1st, which was Day of the Dead.  The groom’s last name was La Morte, so this was fitting! These two got married surrounded by their close friends and family.  Their reception had a very romantic feel, with beautiful flowers, candelabras, and vintage furniture.  Check out a few of my favorite moments from their day!

Carter Ann & Michael – Engagement at the Dallas Arboretum & White Rock LakeDallas, Texas

These two met in high school but it wasn’t until Michael returned from his deployment to finish school at Texas Tech did they start dating!  I loved getting to know them during their engagement session!  Here’s how Michael popped the question:

My family used to ranch out in West Texas and I have a cousin who still lives there with his wife and 2 adorable kids. We’re all really close and go out to visit any chance we get. As a little girl I’d always go explore the sand hills and look for arrowheads. We went to go visit over 4th of July weekend and we all went out to the old ranch to drive around. We stopped at my old sand hills and decided to go hunt for arrowheads. As we climbed to the top Michael pointed over my shoulder and asked if that looked like and old Indian dugout, when I turned back around he was down on one knee! It was almost 10 years to the day after we’d met.

Can’t wait for their wedding next year!

Lizzie and Caleb were such a fun couple and kept me laughing their entire session.  We explored the Kimbell Art Museum and the Magnolia area (with a little side trip to Kent & Co.) and ended with a fun champagne shot!  I mean seriously, how cute are they together?!  Check out a few of my favorite moments from their session!  Can’t wait for their big day!
