I love it when couples are not shy or afraid to be themselves in front of the camera! It’s a hard thing to do but Lindsay and Keith nailed it! They currently live in New York City but are getting married here in Fort Worth so we had a chance to do their engagement photos while they were in town. I love that Keith wore the same suit that he wore on their first date. I think it makes the photos that much more meaningful. Lindsay and Keith cracked me up. It is always a blast when we can all just joke around and laugh together, like when I caught Keith smelling Lindsay’s hair which is apparently an inside joke that has to do with one of their first dates. I don’t know that I’m going to be able to let go of that one and will probably mention it and use it on their wedding day haha! I am so excited for their big day in December. It is going to be so much fun! Please enjoy some of my favorites from their Fort Worth engagement session.
I am so excited to finally share Sara’s bridal portraits! Sara was married this past weekend and was an absolutely stunning bride. She wore lace sleeves over her gown for her church ceremony and removed them for the reception. I love trains, and Sara’s train was so much fun to work with! Check back soon for her gorgeous wedding photos!
I am super excited to share this engagement session! We all know I get really excited for my TCU couples and when I get to photograph them on campus. But I don’t often get to photograph on the field when it is prepped for game day! Kendall and Kyle are TCU alumni like myself and flew in from Oregon for the game and to have their engagement photos done. I loved getting to hang out with them and talk about our days at TCU. It turns out that I was in a few classes with Kyle’s older sister! Small world! I so wish I was able to photograph their wedding, but unfortunately for me they will not be getting married here. Congratulations Kendall and Kyle!
I am excited to share Katie and Cantey’s engagement photos! It was a beautiful day and we began over in the Japanese Gardens and then headed over to the Kimbell Art Museum. After all of the rain we’ve had, everything was beautifully green and it was not too warm out. I love days like this. Katie and Cantey were just too cute and their wedding is going to be so much fun! They will be getting married in October at a little chapel on Cantey’s parent’s property. I absolutely cannot wait for their wedding day!
I am so excited to share these photos from Sara & Robert’s session last week in Fort Worth. we were finally able to meet up after rescheduling due to the crazy weather we have been having and were blessed with clear skies. I always love engagement sessions and learning their story. One of my favorite things I learned on their session was that the ring Robert proposed with has been made over several generations with some of the stones dating back to his great grandfather. Here are some of my favorite photos from their Fort Worth Session.
I am excited to share this engagement session! Sarah and Patrick are some of the sweetest people and it was so much fun to get to run around Fort Worth with them last week. We started out at the Japanese gardens where the leaves have turned a beautiful shade of red, perfect for some fall portraits. It was just too cute when Sarah got really excited when she learned that she would get to hug and kiss on Patrick throughout the entire session. Sarah and Patrick met at TCU’s “Frog Camp”, where incoming freshmen go before starting school to meet other students and get to do some really cool activities. Although, they did not start dating until just a couple of years ago. I am so excited to get to work with them, especially because I am also getting to photograph Sarah’s brother’s wedding in January. I absolutely love getting to photograph multiple weddings within one family. I cannot wait for these guys to tie the knot in June!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Day after sessions are so much fun! In this case it was more like a month after but I loved getting to hang out with Lauren and Clint again! They were married in October and their reception was at T&P station, so we went back and did some photos when the building was empty. They brought a couple of suitcases as props which I loved and thought was super cute, kind of like they were waiting on the train to leave on their honeymoon. I wish more couples would do day after sessions. How often do you get to wear your wedding dress after your wedding? Anyway, I’m so excited to share these photos and hope everyone enjoys them!
I am so excited to share there photos of Samantha & Alec from their Fort Worth engagement session. We started at the Japanese Gardens where we bonded over our love of Hibachi. We then went to the Fort Worth stockyards On the way I learned about how they met in school when they were young and that is where Alec decided to propose to Samantha. He surprised her when she was touring their old school one day and got down on one knee in their old gym. Here are some of my favorites from their engagement session.
I am so excited to share these engagement photos from the session I did with Lynn and Rory last week. We met up early in the morning to try and beat some of the heat. They knew they wanted one of the gardens at the Botanic gardens and we ended up deciding on the Japanese Garden (my favorite). They brought along a sign that says “Love you more” which is what they love to say to each other. Here are some of my favorites from their Fort Worth engagement session.
